NBA scores, NBA Playoffs Preview, MLB scores & Micky Loomis speaks: 4/27, Vol. 130, 2nd Edition

I've had some problems, some great and some small, You being God delivered me from them all; Still can't believe all the ways you've made; An incredible God deserves an incredible praise! Welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y!

The National Basketball Association was balling last night with thirteen games in action as the Atlanta Hawks crushed the Dallas Mavericks 106-89 to clinch home court advantage in the 1st round as Josh Smith netted 23 points, the Boston Celtics pummeled the Milwaukee Bucks 87-74 as Rajon Rondo had zero points but handed out 15 dimes, the Chicago Bulls manhandled the Cleveland Cavaliers 107-75 with 25 points from John Lucas as the Bulls lock up the overall top seed in the playoffs, the Detroit Pistons clobbered the Philadelphia 76er’s with 26 points from Ben Gordon, the Houston Rockets finished the season with a win by knocking off the New Orleans Hornets 84-77 as Chase Budinger had a game high of 27 points, the Denver Nuggets literally spanked the Minnesota Timberwolves 131-102 as Javale McGee scored 19 points off the bench, the Portland Trailblazers was defeated by the Utah Jazz 96-94 as Alec Burks scored 18 points off the bench, while the Miami Heat without the Big 3 was simply befuddled by the Washington Wizards 104-70 as Maurice Evans had 18 points, the Toronto Raptors annihilated the New Jersey Nets 98-67 with 24 points Ed Davis, the Orlando Magic couldn’t handle the Memphis Grizzlies 88-76 as the Grizz’s earn home court advantage with Marc Gasol pouring in 22 points, the New York Knicks plain ole embarrassed the Charlotte Bobcats as the Bobcats finished the season with the worst record ever in the NBA thanks in part to J. R. Smith’s 22 points, the San Antonio Spurs got past the Golden State Warriors 107-101 with a double-double from Patty Mills scoring career high 34 points and passing out a career high 12 assists and the Sacramento Kings dusted the LA Lakers 113-96 with 23 points and 19 rebounds from DeMarcus Cousins as the Lakers rested their starters.  Excuse me…..I’m sad since my favorite sports regular season has come to and an end, but the Lord said let the playoffs begin on Saturday!  The matchups for round one in the Eastern Conference will witness the Chicago Bulls taken on the Philadelphia 76er’s, the Miami Heat opens up against the New York Knicks, while the my home-team Orlando Magic tries to make the Indiana Pacers disappear and the defending champion Dallas Mavericks battle the Oklahoma City Thunder and on Sunday in the Western Conference, the Utah Jazz match up against the San Antonio Spurs, the Denver Nuggets is pitted against my LA Lakers, the Boston Celtics will try to clip the wings of the Atlanta Hawks and the Lob City Clippers take on the Memphis Grizzlies.  Let the games begin as you either win or go home!

The bats were swinging in Major League Baseball as the Kansas City Royals notched their 2nd straight win against the Cleveland Indians 4-2 with 2 RBI’s from Mitch Maier, the San Francisco Giants eked out a one run win against the Cincinnati Reds 6-5 Angel Pagan homered in the 9th to help seal the deal, the Seattle Mariners knocked off the Detroit Tigers 5-4 as the Mariners broke out brooms and swept the Tigers, the Miami Marlins lose again to the New York Mets 3-2 as Kirk Niewenhuis drove in the winning run, while the LA Angels continue to struggle with Albert Pujos and lost to the Tampa Bay Rays 4-3 as Mark Trumbo launched a homerun and Rays walked off in fashion, the Washington Nationals was defeated by the San Diego Padres 2-1 as Mark Kotsay had a two run double to help seal the deal, the Baltimore Orioles out swung the Toronto Blue Jays 5-2 as Adam Jones went yard and the Boston Red Sox demolished the Chicago White Sox 10-3 as Kevin Youkilis provided a homerun.

In sporting news, general manager of the New Orleans Saints Micky Loomis finally spoke about his alleged wiretapping scandal and was livid and angry about the accusations and stated “I have never asked for the capability to listen to an opposing team's communications, I have never inquired as to the possibility of listening in on an opposing team's communications. And I've never been aware of any capability to listen in on an opposing team's communications at the Superdome or at any NFL stadium and frankly, I don't know who made the allegation and I'm angry about it.”
