Scores for the NHL, Basketball HOF Inductees & Ryan Leaf & addiction help: 4/3, Vol. 112, 2nd Edt'n

Speaking clearly to my heart, hope and wisdom You impart. I've been tested and subdued, but Thy Word shall bring me through! Welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel, I’m CEEJAY!

The National Hockey League only had two games on tap last night as the Washington Capitals was knocked off by the Tampa Bay Lighting 4-2 and the Edmonton Oilers were SHUT OUT by the LA Kings 2-0.
In sporting news, the hall came a calling and former Indiana Pacer great and five time all star Reggie Miller, five time NBA champion and the NBA’s most wins, coaching great Don Nelson, three time NCAA player of the year and four time NBA All-Star Ralph Sampson, two time NCAA champion, four time NBA champion and three time All-Star Jamaal Wilkes, two time All American, 1988 and 1996 gold medal winner Katrina McClain, longtime referee Hank Nicols, All American Red Heads, the female version of the Harlem Globetrotters, Nike co-founder Phil Knight, Mel Daniels, Chet Walker, Don Barksdale and Lydija all answered the call from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame to be inducted in September.

As reported in quick news and notes on Monday, former second pick in the 1988 NFL draft and quarterback of  several NFL teams, Ryan Leaf was arrested last week and posted a $76k bond for burglary and stealing prescription drugs. Leaf again was arrested on Monday on similar charges.  Leaf, who did not measure up to his draft status as quarterback, has struggled with addiction to painkillers and who was taken in by Central Montana Drug Task Force commander Chris Hickman who stated “When I advised him that he was going to be charged with another count of burglary for the events that occurred, he didn't show any surprise -- and he didn't make any confessions or admissions.”  If you or a loved one has an addiction to painkillers, you can call 1.800.559.9503 for assistance.
