Count on me through thick and thin, a friendship that will never end, when you are weak, I will be strong, helping you to carry on, call on me, I will be there, don't be afraid!  Welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y!

Wes Welker
They were running the bases in 8 games in the National League in Major League Baseball as the Colorado Rockies got past the San Francisco Giants 5-4 as Marco Scutaro’s homer in the 9th inning eventually sealed the deal, the San Diego Padres demolished the Washington Nationals 6-1 as James Darnell launched his 1st homerun, the Houston Astros needed 10 innings but came up a weeeee bit short 4-3 against the Philadelphia Phillies as Hunter Pence belted out 2 homeruns, the defending champions St. Louis Cardinals knocked off the Chicago Cubs 7-6 with the help of  Matt Holliday’s homer, the Cincinnati Reds were routed by the Atlanta Braves with a homer from Brian McCann, while the Milwaukee Brewers SHUT OUT and literally spanked the New York Mets 8-0 with Zack Greinke striking out 7, the Pittsburgh Pirates were outmuscled by the Miami Marlins 6-2 as Josh Johnson won his 1st game in 4 starts and the Arizona Diamondbacks out swung the LA Dodgers 5-1.

For your NFL Quick Hits, New England Patriots receiver Wes Welker signed his franchise tender for $9.5 million dollars on Tuesday, he announced on his Twitter page, the home of NFL legend Junior Seau was burglarized last week, only five days after the former San Diego Chargers linebacker committed suicide inside the house, police told the North County Times on Tuesday, Maurice Jones-Drew, Jacksonville Jaguars running back skipped the first day of organized team activities Tuesday, and coach Mike Mularkey said the three-time Pro Bowler wants a contract extension, a judge has placed suspended Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Johnny Jolly on "shock probation" just months into his six-year jail stay as shock probation provides first-time inmates early release after experiencing the shock or trauma of being in jail and finally, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Darius Fleming, a fifth-round draft pick, tore his anterior cruciate ligament during his first rookie minicamp practice.
