We watch and we wait Lord, we anticipate, the moment, You choose to appear. We worship, we praise until there's no debate and we recognize that You're already here. Hallelujah! Good morning and welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio better than when you heard last week, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y!  Let’s Get It Started!

Kyrie Irving
The sports world was rocking over the weekend as some teams in the NBA Playoffs were sent home as Denver Nuggets were sent back to mile high in game 7 seven against the LA Lakers and the Boston Celtics won their opening game against the Philadelphia 76er’s on Saturday and on Sunday, the Lob City Clippers were trying to send the Memphis Grizzlies to a bar-b-que vacation as the Grizzlies tried their best but came up short as the Clippers won their 3rd playoff series in 41 years 82-72 as Chris Paul lead his team with 19 points and the Clippers will face off against the San Antonio Spurs in the Eastern Conference Semi-Final on Tuesday.  In the second game on Sunday, the Miami Heat cruised past the Indiana Pacers 95-86 as LeBron James, who was presented with his 3rd MVP trophy, was on fire with 32 points and 15 glass grabbing rebounds and the Heat take a 1-0 series lead.

And in NBA news, as reported on my Twitter page last night, Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving is expected to be named Rookie of the Year on Tuesday.

The Western Conference Finals kicked off in the National Hockey League as the LA Kings skated past the Phoenix Coyotes 4-2 as Dwight King scored 2 goals and the Kings take a 1-0 series lead.

There were 7 games on the diamond in the American League for Major League Baseball as the LA Angels was manhandled by the Texas Rangers 13-6 as Mark Trumbo belted his 6th homer of the season and Vernon Wells launched his 5th, the Seattle Mariners roughed up Andy Petite in his return to the New York Yankees 6-2 as Casper Wells launched his first homerun, the Tampa Bay Rays eked out a won run win with a score of 9-8 against the Baltimore Orioles with Ben Zobrist belting a homerun, ohhhhh, the Boston Red Sox literally spanked the Cleveland Indians 12-1 as Jarrod Saltalamacchia belted a homerun and drove in 5 RBI’s, while the Kansas City Royals annihilated the Chicago White Sox 9-1 with a homerun from Jeff Francoeur, the Toronto Blue Jays was defeated by the Minnesota Twins 4-3 as Scott Diamond notched his 2nd win of the season and the Detroit Tigers knocked off the Oakland A’s 3-1 with Seth Smith’s 3rd homerun of the season.
