NBA, NHL Playoffs & American League MLB Scores: 5/10, Vol. 139, 1st Edition

There were only two games in the action on the hard court last night in the National Basketball Association in the playoffs as both games were potentially close as teams will either Win or Go Home as the Miami Heat sent the New York Knicks packing 106-94 as Lebron James lead the Heat with 29 points and the Heat will battle the Indiana Pacers in the conference semi-finals starting on Sunday and the Lob City Clippers tried to close-out the Memphis Grizzlies, but the Grizzlies got some home cooking and turned back the Clippers 92-80 with Mark Gasol having a game high of 23 points to trim the Clippers series lead 3-2.

There was only one game in the National Hockey League as the New York Rangers were looking to close-out the Washington Capitals, but Capitals said they were not ready go inside the house from playing on the ice and forced a game 7 with a score of 2-1 as Alex Ovechkin scored a goal.

The American League had 7 games that were swinging their bats in Major League Baseball as the Detroit Tigers was defeated by the Seattle Mariners 2-1 with six strike outs from Jason Vargas, the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Oakland A’s 5-2 as Adam Lind launched a homerun and drove in 2 RBI’s, the Tampa Bay Rays pushed around the New York Yankees 4-1 as Matt Joyce belted a homerun, the Texas Rangers and the Baltimore Orioles was postponed, the Chicago White Sox blasted the Cleveland Indians 8-1 with a homerun from Adam Dunn, the Boston Red Sox lost by a run 4-3 to the Kansas City Royals as Bruce Chen gets his 1st win of the season and the LA Angels bounced the Minnesota Twins 6-2 as Ervin Santana notched his 1st win in the 7 starts.
