Antonio Tarver suspended &

banned substance
After getting paid $1 million in a 12 round draw against Lateef Kayode on June 2, cruiserweight Antonio Tarver tested positive for the banned substance drostanolone in pre-fight urine test conducted by the California State Athletic Commission.  Tarver stated he was surprised by the test result and will appeal and request that his B sample be tested.  As of now, Tarver is suspended and fined $2,500 and he was also benched for his next fight as a Showtime analyst.
