After a second two day tryout with the Seattle Seahawks last week, linebacker Brian Banks, who was exonerated from a rape conviction after serving more than five years, has received an offer to tryout with the San Francisco 49er’s today.  Banks left Seattle without a contract offer from the Seahawks and coach Pete Carroll and his staff was impressed with and equally surprised how he performed at middle linebacker, but wasn’t ready to extend a contract offer to him a contract at this point.
