Michigan International Speedway
After 143 races during a span of four years, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. finally captured his first NASCAR Sprint Cup victory at Michigan International Speedway since 2008 after leading the field with 15 laps to go.  And the most important thing when Earnhardt crossed the finish line and proceeded to get out his stock car was he got a win for his fans.  Tony Stewart, Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle and Jimmie Johnson round out the top five.

And the Chicago Fire got past the New York Red Bulls 3-1 in Major League Soccer.
