London Summer Olympic, NFL News Feat. Hines Ward & Sean Diddy Combs News: 6/1, Vol. 155, 2nd Edition

I have to realize that it's not my battle, it's not my battle to fight and I have to know if I to put it in His hands, that everything will be alright! Welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y!

Sean Diddy & Justin Combs
For your London Summer Olympic News, world record-holder Usain Bolt put his poor performance in the Czech Republic behind him with a season's best 9.76 seconds in the 100-meter race at the Golden Gala on Thursday, two-time Olympic swimming gold medalist Rebecca Adlington says she will stay away from Twitter during the London Games because of the nasty comments she has received about her looks and finally, Rio 2016 organizers won a legal dispute when a judge decided not to annul contracts and block construction on disputed land for the Olympic golf course.

For your NFL Quick Hits, friends of Junior Seau said the former NFL linebacker suffered from insomnia and at least four of those friends said Seau regularly took the prescription drug Ambien, according to a USA Today report, New Orleans Saints assistant head coach Joe Vitt and Drew Brees have spoken about preparations for training camp, and Vitt said he expects the star quarterback to be back with the team by then, Commissioner Roger Goodell is confident that bounty hunting will no longer be an issue in the NFL because of the severe penalties handed out in the wake of the New Orleans Saints scandal, Osi Umenyiora says he has mutually parted ways with agent Tony Agnone as he continues his pursuit for a new contract with the New York Giants and stated “we both decided he really wouldn't be able to help me out with this situation and I haven't hired a new agent, and I'm not really looking to hire a new agent", former Pittsburgh Steelers star Hines Ward has been hired by NBC Sports to work as an analyst for its NFL and college football coverage and finally, longtime St. Louis Rams equipment manager Todd Hewitt is suing the team, alleging he was fired last year due to age discrimination.

In sporting news, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, is under fire because his son will be attending UCLA next season on a $54,000 per year scholarship to play football.  First of all, I had no idea he could play football.  But secondly, and on a more serious note, some are saying that that Justin Combs, should pass on the scholarship because of his families wealth.  UCLA, along with Iowa, Illinois, Middle Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia, recruited Combs and indicated the scholarship is not based on finances and released a statement that read “unlike need-based scholarships, athletic scholarships are awarded to students strictly on the basis of their athletic and academic ability, not their financial need and athletic scholarships, such as those awarded to football or basketball players, do not rely on state funds. Instead, these scholarships are entirely funded through UCLA Athletics ticket sales, corporate partnerships, media contracts and private donations from supporters.”  Basically, in my perspective, since you asked, Diddy is no different than other parents who are CEO’s, CFO’s, presidents and et cetera of publicly traded and/or private companies, in which they are making millions of dollars, but yet, their son’s and daughter’s are awarded scholarships to colleges and universities and nothing is ever said about them.  Diddy, in my opinion, is being singled out since he is not the typical leader of a company, but in the spotlight and mainly seen as a rapper and not necessarily the business mogul he has become.
