Roger Clemens emotional
after being acquitted
In breaking news as announced on my Twitter page yesterday, Roger Clemens, who was on a re-trial that he lied about using performing enhancing drugs, was acquitted on all charges that he obstructed and lied to Congress.  Clemens had maintained his innocence all while the government spent untold millions of dollars seeking a conviction, that apparently never existed

The Queens of the B-Ball Court had one game in the WNBA as Washington Mystics was literally spanked embarrassed by the LA Sparks 101-70 as Nneka Ogwumike poured in 24 points.

Major League Baseball continued with Interleague games in the American League stadiums as the Atlanta Braves were smoked by the New York Yankees 6-2 as CC Sabathia struck out 10, the Cincinnati Reds scored 9 runs, but the Cleveland Indians scored 10 runs with a homer from Casey Kotchman, while the Chicago Cubs annihilated the Chicago White Sox 12-3 as the Cubs used 5 homeruns to topple the White Sox and the San Francisco Giants got past the LA Angels 6-3.

For your London Summer Olympic News, Greek and Serbian Olympic officials Monday denied they were involved in selling tickets to the London Games on the black market, Abby Wambach and Alex Morgan each scored twice to give the United States a 4-1 win over Japan in its tune-up for the Olympics, and finally, Team Korea has paid its entry fee for the 2013 Louis Vuitton Cup, the elimination series for America's Cup challengers and it's the first time a team from Korea has challenged for the America's Cup.

For your NBA Quick Dribbles, St. John's assistant Mike Dunlap was hired Monday as head coach by the Charlotte Bobcats, the school said in a statement released early Tuesday morning and the Bobcats will make an official announcement Wednesday at a press conference in Charlotte, Ohio State Buckeyes big man Jared Sullinger has been medically red flagged by NBA doctors, as they were concerned with Sullinger's back,  New Orleans Hornets president Hugh Weber is leaving the NBA club, and new owner Tom Benson has appointed top New Orleans Saints executives Dennis Lauscha and Mickey Loomis to oversee both teams, and finally, a Florida jury has awarded a disgraced former NBA referee Tim Donaghy, $1.3 million in a lawsuit against the company that published his memoir.
