The ‘B’ sample landed him an ‘E’ and the stands for ‘end’ of the road as AJ Allmendinger was suspended by NASCAR indefinitely as his B sample results were the same as the original drug test result.  With the B sample results, Allmendinger can either enter into NASCAR’s Road to Recovery program that will start the process of reinstatement or he can seek legal action to attempt to discredit the test.  In the meantime, Penske Racing announced Sam Hornish, Jr. will drive the #22 car this weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Yendry, Tanner Brock, and Tyler Horn, three former TCU football players who were among more than a dozen students arrested during a drug sting have been sentenced to probation on marijuana delivery charges, as Yendry was sentenced to three years’ probation and $300 fine per charge, Brock was received four years’ probation and fined $1,200 and Horn was fined $300 and placed on three years’ probation. 
The Nashville Predators have matched the staggering, $110 million dollar, 14 year offer sheet made by the Philadelphia Flyers for defenseman Shea Weber, the Carolina Hurricanes have signed defenseman Jay Harrison to a three-year contract extension worth $1.5 million dollars per season and signed former first-round draft pick Zach Boychuk to a one-year deal, two way deal and he will make $625,000 at the NHL level or $105,000 if he is sent to the minor leagues, before completing a trade to acquire the Ichiro Suzuki, the New York the Yankees spelled out a list of conditions to Ichiro needed to agree to such as switching positions, hit at the bottom of the lineup and possibly sit against left-handed pitching, St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter expects to begin a rehab program next week following surgery to relieve nerve compression that left his arm and much of the right side of his body numb, and finally, Arizona Diamondbacks president Derrick Hall said that there's "close to a 100 percent chance nothing happens'' with Justin Upton between now and the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline.
