NBA 2012-13 Schedule, NBA Quick Dribbles w/ Delonte West & AL-MLB Scores: 7/27, Vol. 195, 1st Edt'n

Oh, what peace we often forfeit, oh, what needless pain we bear all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer!  Good morning and welcome back to Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio better than when you it last week, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y!  Let’s Get It Stared!

2012-13 NBA schedule released
The American League in Major League Baseball had a very light schedule last night with only four games on the diamond along with early afternoon games as the Tampa Bay Rays were stung by the Baltimore Orioles 6-2 as Chris Davis knocked in his 16th homer, the Oakland A’s was in play after they smacked the Toronto Blue Jays upside the head in a 16-0 drubbing Wednesday night, but last night the table were turned as the Blue Jays lambasted the A’s 10-4 as Edwin Encarnacion launched his 27th homerun, the Detroit Tigers lost to the Cleveland Indians 5-3 as the Indians rallied to get the win as Travis Hafner belted a homer and the Kansas City Royals were pummeled by the Seattle Mariners 4-1 as Jason Vargas won his 11th game of the season.
In sporting news, the National Basketball Association released the 2012-2013 season schedule and some of the highlights on opening night include the reigning NBA champions Miami Heat hoisting their 2nd NBA title banner and receiving their bling-bling on October 30 against the storied franchise Boston Celtics, my LA Lakers and Kobe Bryant will begin his pursuit of a 6th NBA ring with Steve Nash running point as they host the Dallas Mavericks.  Some other notable games include the battle of New York as the Brooklyn Nets will open their potentially rivalry against the New York Knicks on November 1 and the team that lost to the Heat in title game, the Oklahoma City Thunder will face off against the team they knocked out of the championship run in the San Antonio Spurs on the same night.  Most people say the NBA season doesn’t officially start until Christmas Day as five total games will be spread across the country as Boston battles Brooklyn….alliteration, I love it nonetheless comma I digress, the Knicks will tackle the Lakers, a rematch of the NBA Finals as the Thunder try to cool off the Heat, Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets will pay a visit to Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls and the last game on Jesus’ birthday will feature the Denver Nuggets against not your daddy’s LA Clippers.
For your NBA Quick Dribbles, the Phoenix Suns say Brad Casper has resigned as president of the NBA team to focus on outside business ventures and chief operating officer Jason Rowley will assume responsibility for the club's business operations as president and Lon Babby will continue serving as president of basketball operations, not quite the multi-year deal he was seeking, but Delonte West officially re-signed with the Dallas Mavericks and the deal is believed to be for one year and slightly more than the $1.1 million veteran's minimum, and finally, the Los Angeles Clippers have signed forward NBA champion Ronny Turiaf to a one-year contract worth the veteran's minimum of $1.1 million, a league source confirmed to ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.
