Marshawn Lynch arrested
for DUI.....trouble continues
to follow him or he is
following trouble
The National League was loaded with games last night in Major League Baseball as the defending champion St. Louis Cardinals lost by a run to the Milwaukee Brewers 3-2 with a homerun  from Ricky Weeks, the Pittsburgh Pirates clobbered the Colorado Rockies 6-2 as Andrew McCutchen belted his 22nd homer of the season, the Houston Astros were smacked upside side the head by the San Diego Padres 8-2 as Yonder Alonso went yard, the Philadelphia Phillies eked out a one run win against the LA Dodgers 3-2, while 10 innings were needed for the Washington Nationals to defeat the New York Mets by one run 5-4 as a wild pitch brought in the game winning run, the San Francisco Giants SHUT OUT and manhandled the Atlanta Braves 9-0 as Buster Posey had 3 hits and 5 RBI’s, the Arizona Diamondbacks were SHUT OUT and tamed by the Cincinnati Reds 4-0 with a homerun from Ryan Ludwick and the Miami Marlins blasted the Chicago Cubs 9-5 as the Marlins launched 3 homers.
For your London Summer Olympic News, Yohan Blake warmed up for the London Olympics by finishing in 9.85 seconds to win the 100 meters Tuesday in his first competitive race since beating Usain Bolt twice at the Jamaican Olympic trials, South African double-amputee sprinter Oscar Pistorius finished second in a 400-meter race in Italy on Tuesday, his final tune-up for the London Olympics, Kelly Hardwick, the NBA security official who filed an employee discrimination lawsuit against U.S. women's national coach Geno Auriemma, the NBA and USA Basketball will be on a security detail in London, the NBA confirmed Tuesday after all, London organizers said Tuesday that 250,000 football tickets are currently still on sale, with 50,000 tickets left for other sports, and finally, apart from a wrong turn by a bus driver, a snarky tweet by a U.S. athlete, a few waterlogged venues and a lack of security guards, organizers are insisting everything is fine at the London Olympics less than two weeks before its opening ceremony…that’s right London, never let them see you sweat…huh?!
For your NFL Quick Hits, preceding his arrest, Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was seen weaving from lane to lane, nearly causing two collisions on Interstate 880 in the Oakland, CA area on Saturday morning, leading to his arrest for investigation of DUI, Jonathan Vilma's hearing as he attempts to delay or overturn his season-long suspension has been moved up a week to July 26, a day after signing veteran place-kicker Josh Scobee to a long-term contract, the Jacksonville Jaguars waived Brandon Coutu, Pro Football Hall of Famer Gene Upshaw is being remembered with a Northern California cancer treatment center named in his honor, called The Gene Upshaw Memorial Tahoe Forest Cancer Center in Truckee, CA and was formally opened on yesterday, and finally, details are emerging concerning the arrest of Dallas Cowboy wide receiver Dez Bryant assaulting his mother, in which according to the incident report, Bryant allegedly grabbed her by her T-shirt and hair and "hit her across the face with his ball cap.  In addition, in the 911 call Angela Bryant stated “I can't keep letting him do this…I can't keep letting him do me like this. I'm tired. I'm going to put an end to it today. I'm going to put an end to it today. I'm tired.” If these allegations are true, hitting a woman, in any way, is a big no-no, but your momma, COME ON MAN!
