The National League in Major League Baseball had one less game than their AL counterpart with 5 games swinging their as the San Francisco Giants lost by one run 3-2 to the Atlanta Braves as David Ross and Freddie Freeman belted a homerun each, the Arizona Diamondbacks also lost by one measly run 7-6 to the Cincinnati Reds as the Reds scored 7 consecutive runs to get the win, while the New York Mets outlasted the Washington Nationals 9-5 as R. A. Dickey won his 13th game of season and David Wright blasted 2 homers, the Miami Marlins was defeated by the Chicago Cubs 4-2 with Alfonso Soriano got his 18th homer of the season and Houston Astros had a bagel for dinner as they were SHUT OUT 1-0 by San Diego Padres.
The Open Championship PGA teed off yesterday and Adam Scott, who is atop of the leaderboard during any major, is your leader at 6 under par, Nicolas Colsaerts, Paul Lawrie and Zach Johnson are all tied for 2nd and there are a plethora of golfers, including Tiger Woods that are only three shots back.
