Penn State's Board of Trustees
refuse to step and of course
laying blame on someone else
As The Freeh Report continues to be discussed, Penn State’s Board of Trustees in private was furious on the way they were portrayed in the report and the report blamed the trustees for the culture of secrecy and deference of the university’s leaders concerning the Jerry Sandusky case.  The call for some or all of the boards 32 trustees to resign have been met with opposition from the board and the board is squarely laying blame and anger toward ex-board chairman Steve Garban, who failed to notify the board collectively on Sandusky in April of 2011 when he was informed.  As I stated during the unfolding is this awful, awful mess, I stated the some or all members of the board knew something and they should be held accountable for their lack of action.
