UFC 148 Purse Winnings, AJ Allmendinger, Gloria Allred & Reggie Jackson News: 7/10, Vol. 182, 3rd Edt'n

     Now that UFC 148 is in the books, the Nevada State Athletic Commission released the purse winnings from the various fights and former light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin took home the most prize money with $275,000 and the fighter Griffin took out, Tito Ortiz, who fought his last fight, made $250,000 and both fighters also made an additional $75,000 for Fight of the Night honors from UFC.  Anderson Silva, who TKO’s Chael Sonnen took home $200,000 along with $75,000 for the Fight of the Night and Sonnen deposited a meager $50,000 for the loss. Silva, will also raked in millions from pay-per-view and other event related revenues.
