J. Hardy for a total of 21 as the Orioles are tied for 1st again the New York Yankees and speaking of the Yankees, they lost by a run 4-3 to their rival the Boston Red Sox as Dustin Pedroia homered, the Seattle Mariners got the 4-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays as Kyle Seager homered and came within a triple of the cycle, the Cleveland Indians was defeated by the Texas Rangers 6-4 as Adrian Beltre belted his 31st homer, while the Detroit Tigers outlasted the Chicago White Sox 5-3  with Miguel Cabrera’s 36th homerun, the Kansas City Royals literally spanked the Minnesota Twins 9-1 with Eric Hosmer’s 14th homer and the Oakland A’s got the best of the the LA Angels 6-5 with Brandon Moss’ 18th homer.
The WNBA was back in action after celebrating their Inspiration Luncheon as the Seattle Storm was molliwoped by the Atlanta Dream 77-61 with a game high 23 points from Angel McCoughtry off the bench and the Minnesota Lynx was UPSET by the Chicago Sky 83-70 as Epiphany Prince, I love saying her name, made the nets holla for your dollar with 26 points.
In essentially a must win game and World Cup qualifications, USA Soccer Team was trying avenge the loss to Jamaica and in the 55th minute, Herculez Gomez flexed his muscles and curled in a free kick to notch the win 1-0.
