NFL w/ Brain Disease & Roger Goodell's Fan Chat Session, NL MLB & WNBA Scores: 9/6, Vol. 223, 2nd Edition

Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His Holy name!  Welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y.!

Study shows NFL players
are more susceptible to brain disease
The National League had eight games swinging their bats in the Major League Baseball as the Philadelphia Phillies clobbered the Cincinnati Reds 6-2 as Chase Utley belted his 10th homer, the New York Mets hammered the defending champs St. Louis Cardinals also with a score of 6-2 as R. A. Dickey became the 1st MLB pitcher to notch 18 wins, the Chicago Cubs were outmuscled by the Washington Nationals 9-1 with count ‘em 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 homeruns by the Nationals, the Houston Astros was dominated by the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-3, the Colorado Rockies SHUT OUT  the Atlanta Braves 1-0, while the Milwaukee Brewers powered past the Miami Marlins 8-5 with 2 homers for Rickie Weeks for a total of 16 for the seasons, the San Diego Padres eked out the one run win against the LA Dodgers 4-3 and the Arizona Diamondbacks pounded the San Francisco Giants 6-2.
The Winsome Women of the WNBA, I love alliteration, were ballin’ last night as the Phoenix Mercury demolished and literally spanked by the New York Liberty 87-59 with 17 points from Plenette Pierson and Indiana Fever was knocked off by the Atlanta Dream 71-64 with 20 points from Lindsay Harding and a renewed Angel McCoughtry’s 15 points off the bench.
For your NFL Quick Hits,  a study of former NFL players finds they were unusually prone to dying from degenerative brain disease, the latest indication that repeated blows to the head may cause serious trouble later on, former Cleveland Browns owner Art Modell, at the age of 87, is in a Baltimore-area hospital and his condition is worsening, WKYC-TV in Cleveland reported Wednesday night, and finally, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell held an hour long chat session with fans from all 32 teams and this is what they want:
A.        want cheaper tickets for preseason games
B.        an end to blackouts.
C.        want to be online at the game
D.        fans up North are looking for more cold-weather Super Bowls
E.         perhaps maybe even a chance to host the draft, as they want the draft to be move around to different locations
