I lift my hands in total adoration unto You…You reign upon the throne for You are God and God alone. Because of You my cloudy days are gone and I can sing to You this song…I just want to say that I love You more than anything!  Welcome back to your HBCU College Football Wrap Up for Week 9 on your Spiritual Sports Segment on a Sunday, alliteration, I love it, on, where I give you your sports twisted spiritually….I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y., Let’s Make It Do What It Do!

The SWAC Conference was doing their thing as they had four games on the Grid Iron yesterday starting with the Magic City Classic as Alabama State clobbered, crushed and controlled, alliteration, I Love It, Alabama A&M 31-13 as Greg Jenkins passed for 264 yards and score and running back Isaiah Crowell added 2 TD’s, Mississippi Valley State was SHUT OUT and demolished by Arkansas Pine-Bluff 10-0 with Justin Billings scoring a rushing TD for their homecoming, while in the Shreveport Classic, Prairie View hammered Southern 49-29 as quarterback De’Auntre Smiley was smiling all day long with a blistering 398 passing yards and count ‘em uno, dos, tres, quarto TD’s and he rushed the rock for scorching 170 yards and another TD….now Dat Dude had it going on and Texas Southern eked out the win against Grambling State 23-20 as Rudy Johnson threw 2 TDs’.

Making our way over to the MEAC Conference as they also had four games on the turf as North Carolina A&T literally smacked Norfolk State upside the head 30-9 as the Aggies defense picked off the Spartans trio collection of quarterbacks 4 times to celebrate their homecoming, South Carolina State celebrated their homecoming by lambasting and putting a shellacking on Howard 41-23 as Richard Cue was on fire with 417 passing yards and not one, not two, not three, but in the words of Moses Malone, fo, fo, fo TD’s, Savannah State was back to their losing ways as they were defeated by Hampton 21-13 as Jeremiah Schwartz ran outside of his mind with 188 rushing yards and 2 TD’s and the Mighty Wildcats of Bethune Cookman battled North Carolina Central for the top spot in the MEAC and the game was tied 14 all at halftime, but the Wildcats said Let’s Go in 2nd half and literally spanked the Eagles 42-17 as Isidore Jackson had 158 ground pounding yards with 2 TD’s.

And for a couple few non MEAC/SWAC scores in the HBCU, Fort Valley State outlasted Morehouse 26-19 to put a damper on their homecoming, in the Augusta Classic, Albany State knocked off Benedict 24-13, Fayetteville State walloped Livingstone 47-29 to win their homecoming, while Tuskegee SHUT OUT Clark Atlanta 14-0 and veering off the HBCU path as my cousin Darius Johnson aka @B1GGDawg75 on Twitter aka Big Diesel and his Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee State outmuscled, outplayed and totally outshined, alliteration, I told you I Love It, North Texas 38-21 as Logan Kilgore decimated the Mean Green’s defense with 349 passing yards and not one, not two, but three TD’s and added 45 rushing yards along with a score.

For your Week 9 standings in the in the SWAC, Alabama A&M has been knocked out of the King’s Chair as they fall to #2 and Alabama A&M now sit in the Kings Chair at #1 and Jackson State is now 3rd in the East and in the West, Arkansas Pine Bluff is remains #1 with Prairie View in 2nd place and in the MEAC, Bethune Cookman now is on Top of the Mountain at #1, with Delaware State in 2nd place and North Carolina Central is now 3rd with their loss to the Wildcats.
