NBA Pre-Season had seven games last night as the New York Knicks needed
overtime to notch the 2 point win over their newly cross town rival the
Brooklyn Nets 97-95 as Chris Copeland registered 16 points, my hometown Orlando
Magic were clawed up by the Memphis Grizzlies 115-100 with Rudy Gay scoring 20
points, the Houston Rockets knocked off the New Orleans Hornets 97-90 as Carlos
Delfino poured in 20 points, the Dallas Mavericks were crushed by the OKC
Thunder 88-76 with 18 points from Kevin Durant, while the Detroit Pistons were outmuscled
by the Minnesota Timberwolves 95-76 as Chase Budinger notched 21 points, the
Washington Wizards got past the defending champs Miami Heat 101-94 with 23
points from Martell Webster and the LA Clippers defeated the LA Lakers 97-91 as
Eric Bledsoe erupted
for 22 points, 11 dimes, 5 boards and had 9 steals.

The
2012 TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships rolled on in Instabul as #1 seeded
Victoria Azarenka had a rough time with 5th seeded Angelique Kerber
but got the win in 3 sets 6-7, 7-6, 6-4, 2nd seeded Maria Sharapova
also needed 3 sets to get past 4th seeded Agnieszska Radwanska 5-7,
7-5, 7-5 and 3rd seeded Serena Williams was the only player who did
not need 3 sets to cruise past 8th seeded Li Na 7-6, 6-3.
For

the Lakers' final two preseason games due to a sore right foot and will be
evaluated over the weekend, according to a team spokesman, Philadelphia 76er’s
