NLCS Score, NFL Quick Hits w/ Ray Lewis & Scott Fujita: 10/16, Vol. 249, 2nd Edition

You woke me up this morning, started me on my way, put food on my table, brought joy to my day; I'm glad Your love has never changed and wonderful, wonderful is Your name!  Welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y.!

Before his hip injury last night,
Marco Scutaro helped the Giants
in the 4th inning big time
Major League Baseball had only one playoff game on the diamond last night as Game 2 of the National League Championship Series featured the defending champion St. Louis Cardinals getting literally spanked and demolished by the San Francisco Giants 7-1 as Ryan Vogelsong notched the win after going 7 innings while the Angel Pagan went yard and Marco Scutaro hit a two-run single in a four run 4th inning. With the Giants win, they even the series 1 game apiece.

After tearing his tricep, Ray Lewis
          may have danced in his
        last pre-game ritual

For your NFL Quick Hits, 17-year veteran Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens has been invited to 13 Pro Bowls, was named Super Bowl MVP and is a two-time NFL defensive player of the year, tore his right triceps in Sunday’s game and is done for the season and perhaps his career, in addition, the Ravens also lost cornerback Lardarius Webb for the year after he tore the ACL in his left knee in the same game, Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray has suffered ligament damage in his left foot, and sources said Monday he is unlikely to play against the Carolina Panthers, but the Cowboys have determined he will not require surgery, Cleveland Browns linebacker Scott Fujita, one of the four players who has battled NFL commissioner Roger Goodell over alleged bounty violations, is now confronted with a neck injury that the team and doctors believe could possibly end his 11-year career, embattled Arizona quarterback Kevin Kolb took one hit too many, which eventually injured his ribs, still is uncertain whether he will be able to return to lead the Cardinals against the Vikings at Minnesota next Sunday, or will turn the job over to John Skelton, Shawne Merriman is back in Buffalo after the Bills re-signed the free-agent pass-rushing star to bolster their banged-up defense, Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson is considered day to day with a rib injury, coach Pat Shurmur told reporters Monday, Detroit Lions tailback Jahvid Best will remain sidelined a year after suffering a concussion and will not re-join the team this week, the team confirmed Monday, and finally, the Jacksonville Jaguars have signed veteran safety Chris Harris and waived cornerback Kevin Rutland.
