In Olympic Sporting news, The U. S. Anti-Doping agency on Wednesday provided Lance Armstrong with 26 names of cyclist that accused him of doping, including 11 teammates.  The agency, at the request of Armstrong, provided him with hard evidence that contained approximately 200 pages that provided expressive details, which included hotel rooms riders transformed into makeshift blood-transfusion centers and cortisone pills provided by Armstrong’s former wife rolled in foil.  More Olympic Sporting news includes a Nashville judge has delayed a public intoxication and vandalism case against two-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White and Evan Lysacek's, Olympic figure skating champion, withdrew from Skate America on Wednesday because of a groin injury.

Wooden Award's "Legends of Coaching" honor, an award that recognizes coaches who exemplify Wooden's high standards of coaching success and personal integrity, Ohio State and Texas will play a home-and-home series in 2022 and 2023, the schools announced Wednesday and the series will begin on September 17, 2022, in Austin, and will return to Columbus on September 16, 2023, Jalen Saunders, a junior wide receiver for Oklahoma, had been ruled ineligible to play due to NCAA transfer rules but was cleared during Oklahoma's evening practice and is expected to play Saturday when the 13th ranked Sooners face #15 Texas in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, the NCAA has rejected an appeal from Boise State and is standing by its decision that the football program must reduce the number of scholarships it hands out this season and the next, and finally, Boston Bruins coach Claude Julien has agreed to coach a youth hockey team later this month to raise money for charity while the NHL is still lockout.
