The Colts played their hearts out
to get the win over the Packers

For
Round Two of your NFL scores, the Miami Dolphins escape Cincinnati with a win
over the Bengals as Ryan Tannehill passed for 223 yards and Reggie Bush rushed
for a score, the Indianapolis Colts edged out the Green Bay Packers in a stunner
30-27 as Andrew Luck threw a career high 362 yards and notched the Colts record
for the most passing yards by a rookie and added 2 TD’s as well, the Baltimore
Ravens got the ugly 9-6 win over the Kansas City Chiefs with 102 rushing yards
from Ray Rice, while the Cleveland Browns was demolished by the New York
Giants 41-27 as Eli Manning threw the rock for 259 yards and not one, not
two, but three TD’s, with all the TD’s going to Victor Cruz, a
career high and Ahmand Bradshaw was a beast with career best 200 ground pounding
yards, the Pittsburgh Steelers rallied past the Philadelphia Eagles
16-14 in a last second field goal along with a rushing score from Rashard
Mendenhall and in the Sunday Night featured game, the San Diego Chargers and
the New Orleans Saints were putting up some major points but it was the Saints
rallying past the Chargers 31-24 as Drew Brees had a career record breaking
night as he broke Johnny Unitas’ record for most games with a TD pass and Brees
was en fuego with 370 yards and not uno, not dos, not even tres, but quarto
TD’s and Marques Colston wasn’t too shabby as well with 131
receiving yards and 3 TD’s.
The
National League Playoffs kicked off the NLDS for the Washington Nationals as
they got the one run win over the defending champs 3-2 as the Nationals take a
1-0 series lead and it was Game 2 as the Cincinnati Reds SHUT OUT and
literally
spanked the San Francisco Giants
9-0 as Ryan Hanigan drove in 3 RBI’s as the Reds take a 2-0 series lead.

NASCAR
was burning up the track at Talladega Superspeedway in the Chase for the Sprint
Cup as Tony Stewart caused a 25 car pile-up that witnessed 10 of the 12 title
contenders tangled in the crash as Matt Kenseth captured the checkered flag
under caution. With Brad Keselowski
finishing 7th, he held onto the #1 spot in the Chase, Jimmie Johnson
is holding down the 2nd spot, Denny Hamlin is 20 points behind for 3rd,
while Kasey Kahne and Clint Bowyer both are tied for 4th and Jeff
Gordan is 42 points behind at #6.

Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata knocked out quarterback Matt Cassell of
the Kansas City Chiefs, fans who were calling for Cassell to be benched,
cheered as right tackle Eric Winston called it “It's 100 percent
sickening", Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith was ejected Sunday in
the game against Tennessee Titans after pushing an official who was trying to
break up an on-field altercation, The NFL is investigating why Mario Williams,
who landed $50 million in guaranteed money this offseason, has publicly
complained about his wrist as recently as this week, yet he still is not on
Buffalo's injury report, and finally, Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu
left in the first quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday with a
right calf injury on a non-contact play when he returns to the game is
questionable to return.
