The Women’s National Basketball Association had Game 4 of
the Finals as the Indiana Fever were looking to close out the Minnesota Lynx
and capture their 1st championship in franchise history and longtime
veteran Tamika Catchings was like Dottie Peoples and she Showed Up and Showed Out with a game high of 25 points, 8 dimes, 4 boards
and added 3 blocks and won her first WNBA championship and MVP as the Fever got
past the former defending champs Lynx 87-78.

The
NFL had games a plenty on Sunday as I run down Round 1 of your NFL Scores
starting with Tennessee Titans getting the one point win over the Buffalo Bills
35-34 as Chris Johnson made a rare appearance this
season with 195 breaking
tackles yards and a 2 TD’s, the
Indianapolis Colts got past the Cleveland Browns 17-13 as Andrew Luck passed
for 186 yards and amassed 2 TD’s on the ground, the Green Bay Packers put
together back-to-back wins as they cruised past the St. Louis Rams 30-20 as Aaron
Rodgers continues to light up the field with
342 yards and not
one, not two, but three TD’s, the Minnesota Vikings are off to
surprising great start as they knock off the Arizona Cardinals 21-14 as Adrian
Peterson gets stronger
as the season goes on after his ACL surgery and rushed for 153 ground pounding
yards and a score, while the
Washington Redskins came up short against the New York ‘Football’ Giants 27-23 with Victor Cruz’s 131 receiving
yards and a score and Eli Manning wasn’t too shabby as he passed for 337 yards
and a score and the New Orleans Saints crushed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 35-28
as Drew Brees breezed
to count ‘em uno, dos, tres, quarto TD’s and 377 passing yards.

Half
of the World Series is set and the Detroit Tigers are waiting for the other
half to be set as the San Francisco Giants forced Game 7 as they blasted
the defending champs St. Louis Cardinals 6-1 as Ryan Vogelsong struck out 9
batters to tie the series 3-3 and tonight, both teams are back on the mound to
determine who moves on to the World Series.
