WNBA Playoffs, NFL w/ Sean Payton & Memphis Grizzlies & Curt Schilling's Sock & Bobby Valentine Fired: 10/5, Vol. 242, 2nd Edition

Help me to see me the way You see me. Sometimes I see pain Lord, when You see victory; I see where I am Lord, You see where I shall be. Open my eyes, help me believe, I am what You see!  Welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y.!

Maya Moore of the Lynx was above
above the competition
Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals tipped off last night in the WNBA as the Minnesota Lynx battled the LA Sparks and despite Candace Parker having a phenomenal game, the Lynx was just too much as the demolished the Sparks 94-77 as Maya Moore lead the Lynx with 20 points and Rebekkah Brunson had a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards.

For your NFL Quick Hits, suspended New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton will be in attendance at the Louisiana Superdome for Sunday night's game against the San Diego Chargers, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, but cannot have contact with the Saints however, a league spokesman has stated that arrangements are being made for Payton to have a post-game visit with Drew Brees, St. Louis Rams veteran running back Steven Jackson has negotiated an out to his contract after the 2012 season, in lieu of an extension, both his agent and the team confirmed to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Thursday, sources have confirmed to ESPN.com that Peyton Manning is part of the proposed ownership group led by Robert Pera, who agreed to buy the Memphis Grizzlies from Michael Heisley for about $350 million this summer, and finally, in response to a an ESPN 30 For 30 production titled ‘Broke’, the NFL Players Association, in a post on its website, said that its program to register financial advisers does not create revenue for the organization, and that fees it charges for the program have increased because of more comprehensive background checks rather than as a way to make additional money.

Get your suit ready, Bobby V....get
