BCS Week 10 Rankings, NY Marathoners, Lindsey Vonn, Guan Tianlang & Joker Phillips: 11/5, Vol. 263, 3rd Edt'n

I was down to my last time dime, But Jesus stepped in right on time, I sure was sick and I couldn't get well, when he healed my body and now I can tell that it's alright now, I think I'll make it anyhow!  For your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y.

Alabama holds on to the win
                  and the #1 BCS Ranking
Week 10 is in the books and the BCS Rankings for college football had a little shuffling to take place as Alabama went into LSU and their dreams didn’t die as they remain in the King’s Chair at #1, Kansas State maintains their #2 position, Oregon’s major win over USC allowed them to leap-frog over Norte Dame to take over the 3rd spot, while Norte Dame drop one spot 4th despite their win, Georgia and Florida moved up one spot to 5th and 6th respectfully, while LSU dropped two spots to 7th after their loss to Alabama, South Carolina was idle and therefore stayed steady, Louisville moved up one slot to 9th and Florida State dropped one spot in the rankings to 10th.

NY Marathoners ran, volunteered
             and donated to the cause
For Olympic Sporting news, despite the cancellation of world largest marathon, thousands of runners poured into New York City's Central Park on Sunday morning to do what they had prepared so long to do, run 26.2 miles and to help where they could, Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones, was one of three women's push athletes selected to compete for the U.S. in this weekend's World Cup opener at Lake Placid, NY, sportswear company Skins is suing cycling's governing body for $2 million, claiming its brand has been damaged by backing the sport as the Lance Armstrong doping scandal unraveled, and finally, Lindsey Vonn's request to compete in a men's World Cup downhill race has been rejected by the International Ski Federation.

Guan Tianling will
               become youngest player
                The Masters next year
For your Quick News & Notes, Kimi Raikkonen won the crash-filled Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday for his first victory since returning to Formula One this year, Guan Tianlang, a 14-year-old middle school student from China, will become the youngest player in Masters history next April after he won an Asian amateur event, Georgia senior Marlon Brown became the second Bulldogs receiver to suffer a season-ending knee injury this season when he injured his anterior cruciate ligament, Arkansas linebacker Terrell Williams has been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated early Sunday morning, after cancellation the Winter Classic, the NHL and NHLPA are tentatively scheduled to resume bargaining talks Tuesday in New York City, sources told's Pierre LeBrun, and finally, after going 12-23 overall in three seasons at Kentucky, head football coach Joker Phillips will not return as he was dismissed by the school, but he will finish out the season, unless the school was joking…..huh?!
