I am grateful for the things that You have done. I am grateful for the victories we've won.  I could go on and on about your works, because I'm grateful, grateful so grateful just to praise You Lord.  Flowing from my heart are the issues of my heart, is gratefulness!  Welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y.!

Austin Dantin of Toledo tossed
          5 TD's against Akron
The MAC Conference featured two teams going in opposite directions as Akron and their 1-10 record took on Toledo and their 8-3 record, but don’t let the records fool you as Akron struck first and led 10-0 after the 1st quarter and then Toledo decided they wanted to join the party and scored 3 TD’s in the 2nd quarter and took a 21-17 lead into the locker room.  The 3rd quarter witnessed both defenses locking down to prevent each other from scoring and Toledo broke the game open in the 4th quarter and Toledo’s quarterback Austin Dantin had 327 yards and count ‘em uno, dos, tres, quarto, cinco TD’s as Toledo powered past Akron 35-23.

Natalie Anchowa's hang time
against Mercer with her 22 points
The lively ladies of Women’s College Basketball had seven ranked games that tipped off last night as 8th ranked Georgia ransacked Savannah State 94-57 as freshman Tiaria Griffin had a career high of 15 points and the Lady Bulldogs coach Andy Landers notches his 800th career win, 5th Norte Dame literally spanked Mercer 93-36 as Natalie Achonwa had 22 career high points along with 10 big time rebounds to lead the Fighting Irish to victory, 7th ranked Louisville demolished UCF 94-73 as Sara Hammond scored 15 points, 16th ranked Ohio State lambasted St. Francis (PA) 70-54 as Taylor Hill had it going on with 23 points, while #21 Oklahoma State literally smacked Texas-Pan American upside the head 96-42 Liz Donohoe poured in 19 points, 15th ranked Texas simply befuddled Jackson State 80-53 as Nneka Enemkpali had the nets sizzling with 20 points and pulled down 20 glass grabbling career high rebounds and 23rd ranked Nebraska stifled Sam Houston State 85-72 as Jordan Hooper hooped it up to a double-double tune of 19 points and 10 boards.

Baltimore Ravens Ed Reed one
         game suspension was reversed
For your NFL Quick Hits, Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed appealed his one-game suspension for his recent hit and his appeal didn’t fall on deaf ears as he will be fined $50,000 instead, San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh had an appointment yesterday for a follow-up evaluation with doctors after undergoing a minor procedure last Thursday for an irregular heartbeat, and finally, Seattle Seahawks rookie safety Winston Guy has been suspended for four games without pay for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances after taking an over the counter product that contained the banned substance.
