Lay me at the throne, leave me there alone…..to gaze upon your glory and sing to you this song. Take me to the King, I don’t have much to bring, my heart and soul in pieces is my offering!  Welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y.!

Markel Starks & Georgetown got
             the UPSET win over UCLA
Men’s College Basketball had six ranked games in action last night as top ranked Indiana rough up the Georgia Bulldogs 66-53 as Christian Watford and Victor Oladipo each scored 14 points, 9th ranked North Carolina literally shook up and smacked Mississippi State upside the head 95-49 as Leslie McDonald lead all scorers with 21 points off the bench, 10th ranked Arizona tamed and tased Long Beach State 94-72 with a double-double from Brandon Ashley with 20 points and 10 boards, while 11th ranked UCLA was UPSET by unranked Georgetown 78-70 with 23 points from Markel Starks, 12th ranked Kansas demolished, destroyed and dominated Washington State 78-41 as Travis Releford notched 17 points and #21 Uconn was UPSET by unranked New Mexico 66-60 with 15 points from Kendall Williams.

Drey Mingo powered Purdue
             over Bowling Green
The ladies only had two ranked games last night in Women’s College Basketball  as 14th ranked Purdue blasted Bowling Green 59-45 as Drey Mingo scored 13 points and 11th ranked Cal overpowered Cal Poly 87-61 as ReShanda Gray poured in 22 points and Gennifer Brandon dropped 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

For your NBA Quick Dribbles, the NBA’s reigning Rookie of the Year Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers, will miss at least one month with a broken left index finger, an injury the Cavs initially diagnosed as a bruise before tests revealed a fracture, Brandon Roy's balky right knee put him back on the operating table Monday as he had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee at a Twin Cities clinic, a procedure the team said would keep him out approximately one month, San Antonio Spurs swingman Stephen Jackson is expected to miss four to six weeks after suffering a non-displaced fracture to his right pinkie finger, and finally, News Corporation, parent company of Fox Sports, is inching closer to acquiring 49 percent of the YES Network, sources who were briefed by its board of directors on Monday told ESPN.
