Monday Night Football, Round 1 of NBA & Marathon Madness NCAAB Scores: 11/13, Vol. 269, 1st Edition

Hello God, here I am again, letting praise matriculate from my lips simply because You are who You are and Your name alone deserves glory.  I pray oh Father God that You provide a blessing to those who are not able to do for themselves, those who are mentally and physically challenged.  Bless them with people that have their best interest in mind and heal them oh Father God where Your Will allows.  This prayer I pray in the name of Jesus…..Amen.  Good morning and welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema on Gospel Radio better than when you heard it yesterday!  I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y!  Leggo!

Big Ben & his Steelers got the win
but he suffered a shoulder injury
Monday Night Football played on last night in a rainy, cold affair in Pittsburgh as the Steelers and Kansas City battled on a wet and soggy field and Kansas City struck first as they lead for the first at any point during any game this season, but the Steelers tied the game 10 all prior to half-time and from that point on, the defensive prowess for both teams was on display and it came down to who had the best field goal kicker and it was the Steelers as they prevailed over the Chiefs 16-13 in overtime.  But as the Steelers won the game, they loss their franchise quarterback Ben Roesthlisberger early in the 3rd quarter with a shoulder injury and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Paul Milsap scored 7 of his 34
               points in the 3rd O/T
             to outlast the Raptors
The National Basketball Association had eight games on tap as I rattle off your Round 1 scores as not one, not two, but three overtimes were needed for the Utah Jazz to outlast the Toronto Raptors 140-133 as Paul Milsap logged 34 points and Al Jefferson had a double-double with 24 points and 17 big boy rebounds, Brandon Jennings poured in 33 points as his Milwaukee Bucks knock off the Philadelphia 76er’s 105-96, the Oklahoma City Thunder needed 2 points to get past the Detroit Pistons 92-90 as Russell Westbrook had a game high of 33 points and 10 boards and the Boston Celtics outmuscled the Chicago Bulls 101-95 as Rajon Rondo barely missed a triple-double with 20 points, 10 assists and 9 rebounds.

Cody Zeller lead Indiana
over North Dakota State with 22 points
The Marathon Madness in Men’s College Basketball kicked off with 24 hours of games as I run down some of the top ranked teams in action because I had to go bed at some point nonetheless comma I digress as #1 ranked Indiana demolished North Dakota State 87-61 in the Legends Classic as Cody Zeller scored 22 points, 5th ranked Michigan steamrolled IUPUI aka eeweepoowee 91-54 in the NIT Tip Off and the Wolverines shoot 60% while Trey Burke scored 22 points, 17th ranked Memphis tormented North Florida 81-66 with 18 points from Tarik Black, while 18th ranked UNLV lambasted Northern Arizona 92-54 in the Global Sports Challenge as it wasn’t much of a challenge as the Rebels held the Lumberjacks to 25% shooting…..ouch and 22nd ranked Norte Dame dominated Monmouth 84-57 with 22 points off the bench from Garrick Sherman.
