NBA & Men's College Basketball Scores & NBA Quick Dribbles w/ Derek Fisher & LeBron James: 11/29, Vol. 278, 1st Edt'n

The splendor of a King, clothed in majesty….let all the earth rejoice, all the earth rejoice.  He wraps Himself in light and darkness tries to hide, it trembles at His voice. How great is our God?  Good morning and welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema on Gospel Radio better than when you heard yesterday…..I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y!  It’s Game Time!

A time for celebration as the Wizards
win their 1st game of the season
The National Basketball Association was jammed pack with games last night as twenty-two teams went to battle starting with the Portland Trailblazers providing the Washington Wizards with their first win of the season 84-82 as Jordan Crawford scored 19 points, the San Antonio Spurs annihilated my home city Orlando Magic 110-89 with a game high of 20 points from Manu Ginobili, the Brooklyn Nets got the win over the Boston Celtics 95-83 with 18 points from Joe Johnson as Rajon Rondo and Chris Humphries were tossed from the game for their skirmish and Gerald Wallace was also ejected with his 2nd technical foul, the Charlotte Bobcats lost to the Atlanta Hawks 94-91 as Al Horford, Josh Smith and Louis Williams each scored 17 points, while the Phoenix Suns were literally spanked by the Detroit Pistons 117-77, wait once minute, let me get my adding machine…WOW, that’s 40 points as Brandon Knight and Charlie Villanueva both scored 19 points and the Dallas Mavericks were manhandled, mangled and mauled, alliteration, I Love It, by the Chicago Bulls 101-78 with 22 points from Luol Deng to wrap up Round I of your NBA scores.

Duke showed up big time in the
2nd half as Mason Plummee led the way
Men’s College Basketball had seven games in action last night as 2nd ranked Duke trailed for most of the game against 4th ranked Ohio State, but the Crazies willed them to the 73-68 win as with 21 points and 17 big boy rebounds from Mason Plummee, Northern Arizona were routed, ransacked and ran over by 9th ranked Arizona 93-50 as Mark Lyons poured in 18 points, Boise State got the UPSET win against 11th ranked Creighton 83-70 as Derrick Marks exploded for 35 career high points, 13th ranked Michigan State was UPSET by Miami (FL) 67-59 with 18 points from Trey McKinney Jones, while Georgia Tech was crushed by #22 Illinois 75-62 as Joseph Bertrand notched 15 points off the bench, UC Irvine was pummeled by 24th ranked UNLV 85-57 with 19 points from Mike Moser and Mercer was terrorized by 25th ranked New Mexico 76-58 as Alex Kirk had a double-double of 16 points and 13 boards.

LeBron James & Kevin Durant
               rank #1 & #2 in jersey sales
For your NBA Quick Dribbles, Amar'e Stoudemire would accept a role as the New York Knicks' sixth man if asked, two sources with knowledge of Stoudemire's thinking, veteran point guard Derek Fisher is returning to the NBA after agreeing to a deal with the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Rubio of the Minnesota Timberwolves got the green light from doctors on Wednesday for full-contact practices, the last major hurdle he needed to clear in his recovery from torn ligaments in his left knee, and finally, for the third time, LeBron James of the Miami Heat is atop the NBA's jersey-sales list once again as Kevin Durant of OKC is 2nd, Kobe Bryant of the LA Lakers is 3rd, while Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks is 4th and rounding out the top five is Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls.
