NBA & NCAAB Round 1 Scores, NBA News w/ LA Lakers, Mike D'Antoni & Royce White: 11/14, Vol. 270, 1st Edt'n

Hello God, here I am again, thanking you for this moment with You, because if it wasn’t for Your glorious grace and your marvelous mercy, I couldn’t imagine where I would be.  I pray to Your my faithful Father that watch over those who have lost loved ones due to some tragic or violent act.  Bless them, console them, hold them, and provide a calming peace over them.  This prayer I pray in the name of Jesus…..Amen.  Good morning and welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema on Gospel Radio better than when you heard it yesterday!  I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y!  It’s Game Time!

Danny Green hit game
                winning three over Kobe
The National Basketball Association had light schedule on the hard court as the Charlotte Bobcats literally spanked the Washington Wizards 92-76 as Ramon Sessions poured in 21 points, the New York Knicks defeated my home city Orlando Magic 99-89 with 25 points from Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks are 5-0 for the first time since the 1993-94 season, the Toronto Raptors got past the Indiana Pacers by 2 points 74-72 in a low scoring affair with 18 points from DeMar Derozan, while the Cleveland Cavaliers tangled with the Brooklyn Nets and lost 114-101 with 26 points from Deron Williams to go along with 10 assists, the Portland Trailblazers demolished the Sacramento Kings 103-86 as Damian Lillard had 22 points and the San Antonio Spurs managed to get past my LA Lakers 84-82 with 19 points from Tony Parker and the game winning 3 pointer over Kobe Bryant from Danny Green.

Seth Curry carried Duke
over Kentucky for the upset win
Marathon Madness carried on last night in Men’s College Basketball as 3rd Kentucky was UPSET by 9th ranked Duke 75-68 as Seth Curry poured in 23 points in the State Farm Champions Classic, 5th ranked Michigan literally smacked Cleveland State upside the head 77-47 as Tim Hardaway, Jr scored 17 points, 7th ranked Kansas was UPSET  by 21st ranked Michigan State 67-64 with 19 points from Keith Appling and 13th ranked UCLA barely avoids the upset win against unranked UC Irvine 80-79 in the Progressive Challenge as J. Adams was hot, hot, hot as he scored 25 points off the bench as I wrap up your Round 1 Men’s College Basketball scores.

Mitch Kupchak said hiring
               Mike D' Antoni was
           simply about basketball
For your NBA Quick Dribbles, Los Angeles Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak said the decision to hire Mike D'Antoni instead of Phil Jackson didn't come down to money, demands over personnel control or travel restrictions…it simply came down to basketball and the direction of the offense the club wanted to go, speaking of Mike D’ Antoni discussed his expectations with the LA Lakers yesterday and stated “I'm going to do everything I can do to win a championship. If we're not at least in the hunt, a serious hunt, then I've failed as a head coach. I'm comfortable with that”, voting has started for the NBA All-Star Game, and for the first time fans can participate through Twitter and Facebook, the Charlotte Bobcats acquired forward Hakim Warrick from the New Orleans Hornets for guard Matt Carroll on Tuesday and finally, Houston Rockets first-round draft pick Royce White is away from the team and says the club has been "inconsistent" in its agreement to help him cope with his anxiety disorder.
