NBA Round 1 Scores, NBA w/ Danny Granger, MSG Network, Olympics w/ Bradley Wiggins: 11/8, Vol. 266, 1st Edt'n

Hello God, I come to You as humble as I know how letting the words of thank you fall off my lips.  Thanking You Father for Your blessings, for Your mercy, for Your grace and for Salvation.  I asked oh Heavenly Father, that You provide a blessing to each and every person that may hear this prayer and touch them in a mighty way. These blessings and baskets of thanks, I asked in the name of Jesus……Amen!  Good morning and welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema on Gospel Radio better than when you heard it last yesterday!  I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y!  Here We Go!

Dwayne Wade laid it all out
against the Brookyln Nets
The National Basketball Association had a plethora of games that tipped off last night as I kick off this segment with Round 1 Scores as the Phoenix Suns knocked off the Charlotte Bobcats 117-100 as Shannon Brown drowned 6 3 pointers in the 4th quarter to finished with 24 points, the Washington Wizards needed overtime but was still sidelined by the Boston Celtics 100-94 as Kevin Garnett put up a double-double with 20 points and 13 boards while his point guard Rajon Rondo past out 14 dimes, the Indiana Pacers lost by 3 against the Atlanta Hawks 89-86 as the Hawks used an 18-0 run to outpaced the Pacers and Al Horford finished with 16 points, the Brooklyn Nets was literally spanked by the defending champion Miami Heat as Dwayne Wade had a game high of 22 points, while the Memphis Grizzlies demolished the Milwaukee Bucks 108-90 as Zach Randolph and Marreese Speights each scored 18 points and the Grizz shot 53% from the field, it was ugly, but the Philadelphia 76er’s claimed the victory 77-62 over the New Orleans Hornets as Jrue Holiday netted 14 points and gave away 12 dimes and the Denver Nuggets put together a two game win streak when they held off the Houston Rockets 93-87 with 21 points from Ty Lawson.

MSG Network pulls
                controversial ads
For your NBA Quick Dribbles, the Indiana Pacers announced Wednesday that one-time All-Star forward Danny Granger is expected to miss up to three months after receiving an injection in his left knee to treat patellar tendinosis, on Tuesday, the MSG Network said it would take down all posters associated with its recent advertising campaign, which generated buzz but also was considered controversial, and finally, rookie Tyler Zeller sustained a concussion and broken cheekbone and center Anderson Varejao bruised his right knee in the first quarter of a game against the LA Clippers and it is not known when both will return.

Bradley Wiggins accident scene
For your Olympic Sporting News, Lindsey Vonn will skip the first World Cup slalom of the season in Finland this weekend, choosing instead to prepare for home races in Colorado Nashville judge signed off Wednesday on a deal between two-time Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Shaun White and prosecutors to settle public intoxication and vandalism charges as White completed alcohol treatment, performed 24 hours of community service and paid restitution, Tour de France champion Bradley Wiggins was recovering in a hospital Wednesday after being hit by a car while riding his bike in northern England, and finally, former Lance Armstrong teammate David George will have the opportunity to reveal how and when he took the blood-boosting drug EPO and if he used it while racing with the former champion more than a decade ago.
