Round 1 Of NBA & NCAAB Scores, NBA w/ Magic Johnson on the Lakers & Royce White: 11/15, Vol. 271, 1st Edition

Hello God, here I am again, worshipping Your name because Your name alone is worthy to be praised.  Heavenly Father strengthen the faith of those parents whose children have gone astray, who have been misguided by their peers and by the negative influences this world has to offer.  Bless them both and heal their broken home. This prayer I pray in the name of Jesus…..Amen.  Good morning and welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema on Gospel Radio better than when you heard it yesterday!  I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y!  It’s Game Time!

The Grizzlies got the win &
Zebo & Perkins got the toss
The National Basketball had a solid schedule of games as I kick off this segment with Round 1 of your NBA scores as the Detroit Pistons secured their first win of the season with a 96-74 shellacking of the Philadelphia 76er’s as Greg Monroe had a game high of 19 points and 18 glass grabbling rebounds, the Utah Jazz couldn’t handle the Boston Celtics and lost 98-93 as Paul Pierce poured in 23 points and Rayon Rondo notched his 32nd consecutive game with at least 10 assists, the Indiana Pacers are off to a sluggish start as they were blasted by the Milwaukee Bucks 99-85 as Brandon Jennings and Monte Ellis each scored 16 points, while the Houston Rockets was able to get past the New Orleans Hornets thanks to James Harden’s 30 points as they beat the Hornets 100-96 and the Memphis Grizzlies are quietly having a sweet start to the season as they are 6-1 as they crushed the Oklahoma City Thunder 107-97 with 28 scorching hot points from Rudy Gay.

Jordan Lynch was Jordan-Like
              with 407 passing yards, 3 TD's &
           162 rushing yards!
There were two college football games on the Grid Iron last night as the MAC featured Ball State literally spanking Ohio 52-27 as Ball State had their running game on display as Johan Edwards had 169 ground pounding yards and a score and Horactio Banks notched 135 breaking tackles yards and score as the Cardinals amassed a total of 357 rushing yards and the second game featured two more MAC teams as Toledo was blasted by Northen Illinois 31-24 as quarterback Jordan Lynch brought his lunch pale to work with 407 passing yards and not one, not two, but three TD’s and then he put in overtime with 162 rushing yards….wow!

Men’s College Basketball had two ranked games last night as 10th ranked Florida got 24 points from Erik Murphy as the Gators chomped down on the Wisconsin Badgers 74-56 and 15th ranked Creighton dominated UAB 77-60 with 18 points off the bench from Josh Jones.

For your NBA Quick Dribbles, after tweeting that he would remain silent if he didn't "have anything nice to say," Magic Johnson said what was on his mind anyway concerning the hire of Mike D’ Antoni to the LA Lakers and stated “To me, they made two critical mistakes. First, hiring Mike Brown -- he wasn't the right coach. He's a great coach but not the right coach for the Lakers. And I don't feel Mike D'Antoni is the right coach for the Lakers. Especially when you have Phil Jackson sitting out there, who wanted to be the Laker coach. Jim Buss decided he didn't want Phil Jackson, he wanted Mike D'Antoni. And that's OK, but why didn't you just say that?”, and in the ongoing saga, Houston Rockets rookie Royce White remains absent from the team in a dispute over how the Rockets are helping him confront his anxiety disorder.
