As I come into Your presence, past the gates of praise, Into Your sanctuary, ‘till we're standing face to face, I look upon Your countenance, I see the glory of Your Holy face, I can only bow down and say...You are awesome in this place!  Good morning and welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema on Gospel Radio better than when you heard it last week! Peyton Manning rallied
the Broncos past the Bengals
to stay undefeated against
them for his career
The world of sports was buzzing over the weekend especially in the National Football League as I kick off the 1st Segment with your Round One of your NFL scores as Peyton Manning overcame 2 early interceptions and rallied his Denver Broncos past the Cincinnati Bengals as Manning had 291 yards and not one, not two, but three TD’s, the Baltimore Ravens blasted the Cleveland Browns 25-15 with 98 rushing yards and a score from Ray Rice, the Green Bay Packers demolished the Arizona Cardinals 31-17 with count ‘em, uno, dos, tres, quarto TD’s from Aaron Rodgers, while the Chicago Bears literally spanked the Tennessee Titans 51-20 as Brandon Marshall had 122 receiving yards and not one, not two, but three TD’s, the Indianapolis Colts received an inspirational pep talk from their coach Chuck Lagano, who is battling Leukemia, and that provided the fuel to outlast the Miami Dolphins 23-20 as rookie quarterback Andrew Luck passed for 433 scorching yards, setting a new record for rookie QB’s and added 2 TD’s and the Carolina Panthers finally got their 2nd win of the season by powering past the Washington Redskins 21-13 as Cam Newton had 201 passing yards and a score by air and a score by ground.

Jimmie Johnson edged out Brad
                   Keselowski to notch the win
                  & take the points
NASCAR Playoffs continued to burn up the tracks as they raced at Texas Motor Speedway and five time Jimmie Johnson showed why he is just that as he regained the lead on the final restart on the 334th lap and held off previous points leader Brad Keselowski by a 1/3 length of his car to capture the checkered flag and to extend his lead 7 points ahead of Keselowski, while Clint Bowyer is 3rd in the points standing, Kasey Kahn is 4th and Matt Kenseth and Jeff Gordon are tied for 5th.

The LA Lakers finally get a
                  win in four tries

The National Basketball Association had five games to tipped off yesterday as the New York Knicks crushed the Philadelphia 76er’s with 11 3’s 100-84 as Carmelo Anthony lead his team with 27 points, the Toronto Raptors manhandled the Minnesota Timberwolves 105-86 as Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan nearly had identical stat lines as they both capped off a 22 point performance, my hometown Orlando Magic surprisingly befuddled the Phoenix Suns 115-94 as J. J. Reddick poured in 24 points, while the Atlanta Hawks outlasted the Oklahoma City Thunder 104-95 as Al Horford put in work with a double-double of 23 points and 12 boards and my LA Lakers finally won their 1st game of the season as they drilled, dropped, and destroyed, alliteration, I Love It, the Detroit Pistons 108-79 with 28 points from Dwight Howard and 8 assists from Kobe Bryant.
