You
were life, when I was dying…You were strength, when I was crying. You were
right and I was so wrong…..You were a melody, when I had no song. And this is
why I continually give Your name the praise!
Good morning and welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema

The Falcons defense was too much for the Saints offense |
Thursday
Night Football featured one of most heated and growing rivalries in the
National Football League as the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons went
to battle on
the Grid Iron as the Falcons struck first and struck early with a 3
yard TD run from Michael Turner and the Saints joined the TD party, but only
after the Falcons scored yet another TD as the Falcons led at halftime
17-7. In the 2nd half, both
defenses stepped up as each team scored two field goals apiece as the Falcons
got the best of the Saints 23-13 and they picked off Drew Brees 5 times as they
flew their way to the best record in the NFL at 11-1.

David Lee's 30 points helped the Warriors notch the win against the Nuggets |
The
National Basketball Association had only two games last night as the
short-handed San Antonio Spurs gave the full handed defending champion Miami
Heat all they
could handle as the Heat
prevailed with the 105-100 win as LeBron James finished with 23 points, but it
was Ray Allen’s trey with 22.6 seconds left in the contest that made the
difference and the Denver Nuggets, gave the appearance that they would win the
game, but the Golden State Warriors eked out the one point win 106-105 as Andre
Igoudala’s 3 pointer was waived off as the buzzer sounded and he also had a
chance to tie the game, but missed the last of three free throws, meanwhile,
the Warriors rode David Lee’s red hot 31
points to victory.
