            The Atlantic Coast Conference and the Orange Bowl have finalized a 12-year deal placing the ACC champion annually in the bowl against either a team from the SEC or Big Ten or Notre Dame starting January 1, 2015 and ESPN will pay an average of $55 million annually for the bowl, and ESPN also reached a 12-year agreement with the Southeastern Conference and Big 12 Conference for the rights to air the Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans across multiple platforms through 2026, David Price of the Tampa Bay Rays won the AL Cy Young Award on Wednesday in one of the closest votes ever as he beat Justin Verlander by just four points, two years after R.A. Dickey was the first player cut by the New York Mets in spring training, he now has a Cy Young Award on his résumé as he won the National League Cy Young on Wednesday, becoming the first knuckleballer to receive the honor.
