The Final weekend in the National Football League for the
regular season came to a close on Sunday with some intriguing games that
determined playoff entrance and positioning as the Tampa Bay Bucs knock off the
Atlanta Falcons 22-17 as Doug Martin had 142 move get out of my rushing yards way and a
score, the Buffalo Bills demolished the New York Jets 28-9 with 225
passing yards from Ryan Fitzpatrick and a score, the Cincinnati Bengals outmuscled
the Baltimore Ravens 23-17 to finish strong and make the playoffs as Carlos
Dunlap had a 14 yard TD interception, the Chicago Bears defeated the Detroit
Lions 26-24 while finishing with a 10-6 record but still missed the playoffs,
the Tennessee Titans muscled past the
Jacksonville Jaguars 38-20 as the Titans became the first team in NFL history
with two players scoring twice on returns in a same game, while Chuck Pagano
returned to the sideline after being treated for Leukemia led his Indianapolis
Colts to 28-16 drubbing

Houston Texans as Andrew Luck notched 191 passing yards and 2 TD’s, the
Carolina Panthers put up 44 points against the New Orleans Saints 38 points to
secure the win as Drew Brees passed for 5,000 yards for a record 3rd
time and DeAngelo Williams of the Panthers rushed for 210 scorching yards and 2 TD’s and
the New York Giants put a whipping on
the Philadelphia Eagles 42-7 as Eli Manning threw count ‘em uno, dos, tres,
quarto, cinco, I’m bi-lingual TD’s.

National Basketball Association had four games that tipped off last night as
the Detroit Pistons escaped with a 96-94 win over the Milwaukee Bucks with 20
points from Tayshaun Prince, the Tango in Texas had the San Antonio Spurs clobbering,
crushing and containing, Alliteration, I Love It, the Dallas
Mavericks 111-86 with 21 points from Tony Parker, the Sacramento Kings crowned
the Boston Celtics with a 118-96 rout as DeMarcus Cousins posted his first
triple-double with 12 points, 10 boards and 10 assists and the Lob City
Clippers finished the month of December
undefeated as they dominated the Utah Jazz 107-96 with Caron Butler’s 29 sizzling
points.
