Central Michigan comes out on top in the Little Caesar's Bowl over Western Kentucky |
Pizza!
Pizza! The Little Caesar’s Bowl kicked
off last night on the Grid Iron as
Western Kentucky of the Sunbelt Conference battled with Central Michigan of the MAC
Conference and Central Michigan struck first with a TD, but Western Kentucky
said anything
you can do I can do better and
scored a TD less than 2 minutes later and by half-time, Central Michigan was holding
a 17-14 lead. In the 2nd half,
each team would score one touchdown and with a 4th and 2 and 51
seconds left in the game, Western Kentucky opted to go for it versus kick a
field goal to potentially send the game in overtime and the pass play was
incomplete and Central Michigan held on to get the 24-21 win as Ryan Radcliff
passed for 253 yards and not one, not two, but three TD’s.

Josh Smith celebrates the double OT win over the Pistons |
After
the NBA Christmas Day Extravaganza, the National Basketball Association was

defending champs Miami Heat kept the Charlotte Bobcats stuck on 7 wins 105-92
as Dwayne Wade poured in 29 points, the New Orleans Hornets end their losing
streak by tripping up my home city Orlando Magic 97-94 with 29 points from
Robin Lopez, while the Detroit Pistons needed double overtime but came up a weee
bit short against the Atlanta Hawks 126-119 with 31 basket filling points from Josh Smith, the Brooklyn Nets lost their 3rd
in a row to the Milwaukee Bucks 108-93 as Brandon Jennings notched 25 points
and the developing rivalry between the Indiana
Pacers and the Chicago Bulls was postponed due to a snowstorm. Make sure you keep it locked to hear Round 2

A shooting coaching is helping D-Wade shoot a blistering 61% over the past eight games |
For
your NBA Quick Dribbles, Dwyane Wade's career-high shooting percentage and
blistering 61 percent clip over his past eight games can't all be attributed to
a little extra coaching, but it certainly hasn't hurt as the Heat's second
leading scorer admitted he has been working with a shooting coach during the
season and Cleveland Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao will missed his fourth
straight game last night against the Washington Wizards because of a bruised
right knee and the Cavs claimed guard Shaun Livingston off of waivers from
Washington and they made room on their roster by the Cavs waiving guard Donald
Sloan, who had appeared in 20 games for Cleveland this season.
