Jim Boeheim wins his 900th
              career college basketball game

Men’s College Basketball had four ranked games last night as Jim Boeheim and his 3^rd ranked Syracuse Orangemen held off Detroit’s rally to get the 72-68 win as Boeheim earns his 900^th career win and become the only third Division One men’s basketball coach to achieve 900 wins as James Southerland helped out with 22 points off the bench, 12^th ranked Missouri totally outplayed, totally outperformed and totally embarrassed, Alliteration, I Love It, South Carolina State 102-51 as the Tigers held them to 29% from the field, #21 UNLV just barely got past unranked UTEP 62-60 and 22^nd ranked Norte Dame cruised to victory over IPFW 74-62 with Pat Connaughton’s 18 points.

Women’s College Basketball only had one ranked game that played out on the hard-court as 8^th ranked California won a close one against unranked Northwestern 71-65 as Brittany Boyd scored 18 points.
