Men & Women's College Basketball Scores Feat. Ebony Rowe & NFL Quick Hits w/ Ed Reed & Tim Tebow: 12/28 - Vol. 299 - 3rd Edition

If I never had a hungry day, broke day, how would I know that You could make a way?  If I never had a broken heart, torn apart, how would I know that You could give me a brand new start?  I’m Thankful for those things that I went through, cause if I never had to cry at night, then I wouldn't know You like I do!  Welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y.

Alex Kirk came up
with a HUGE block to help
            New Mexico UPSET
            8th ranked Cincy
Men’s College Basketball only had one ranked game last night as undefeated and 8th ranked Cincinnati was UPSET by New Mexico by one measly point 55-54 as Alex Kirk blocked the last second shot of Sean Kilpatrick as Kendall Williams finished with 16 points in the upset win.

Ebony Rowe of MTSU notches
                her 40th career double-double
Unlike the men, the ladies in Women’s College Basketball didn’t have any ranked games however comma plenty of excitement took place on the hard-court as Ohio State pounded, pasted and pummeled, Alliteration, I Love It, VCU 88-50, Hampton clobbered St. Peter’s 62-40 and a Sun Belt Conference Showdown took place as North Texas battled Middle Tennessee for positioning in the conference as Icelyn Ellie’s 3 point swish with 14 seconds left in the contest ultimately sealed the deal as Middle Tennessee got the win over North Texas 66-64 as Ebony Rowe is a double-double machine with her 40th career double-double of 21 points and 11 boards.

Ed Reed on his way to a
$55k fine for his hit on Victor Cruz
For your NFL Quick Hits, Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed has been fined $55,000 for his hit on New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz in Sunday's game, the Seattle Seahawks will now have one of the best young cornerbacks in the NFL available for the playoffs after Richard Sherman won his appeal of a suspension for use of performance-enhancing substances on Thursday, Dallas Cowboys nose tackle Josh Brent was driving with a suspended license and had a blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal limit at the time of the car crash that killed teammate and friend Jerry Brown, according to documents released by police Thursday, San Francisco 49ers Pro Bowl defensive end Justin Smith has a partially torn left triceps but will attempt to play this postseason, sources told ESPN, and finally, Greg McElroy is out due to injury, Mark Sanchez is back in as starter of the New York Jets against the Buffalo Bills in the last game of the year and Tim Tebow, well, he’s asking yet again, what can a brother do to get a start…..HUH!?
