After 4 INT's in MNF, Marc Sanchez is at a loss of words |
The
New York Jets needed to keep flying high with wins as their passenger in order
to keep their playoff hopes alive as they battled on the Grid Iron on Monday Night Football against the Tennessee
Titans and the Jets landed the first score by way of a field goal, but by the
half, that’s all they would muster as the Titans led 7-3. In the 2nd half, both teams scored
a TD in the 3rd quarter and both were finished scoring as the Titans
held on to get the win 14-10 and grounded the Jets from entering the playoffs and Marc Sanchez had yet another dismal game with
four interceptions and a rating of 32.6 ouch, while on the other side of the ball,
Chris Johnson notched 122 rushing yards and a score.

Jeremy Lin had 22 points in the win against his former team at MSG |
The
National Basketball Association had six games on the docket last night and one
of them included a Reunion of Lin-Sanity as the Houston Rockets battled the New
York Knicks in Madison Square Garden and Jeremy Lin’s first return to his “basketball
birth place” was a joyous one as
his scored 22 points and James Harden added a double-double with 28 points and
10 boards as the Rockets dominated the Knicks 109-96, my home city
Orlando Magic rolled
on the Minnesota Timberwolves 102-93 as Glen “Big Baby” Davis was feeling it with
28 points and Jameer Nelson passed out 12 dimes, the LA Clippers got the win
over the Detroit Pistons 88-76 with 15 points from Blake Griffin and Jamal
Crawford, while the Chicago Bulls were stopped by the Memphis Grizzlies 80-71
as Zach Randolph chipped in a double-double with 10 points and 15 boards, the
OKC Thunder sent the San Antonio Spurs packing 107-93 as Serge Ibaka said he
wanted the spotlight as he delivered a man-sized double-double with 25 basket filling points and 17 glass grabbing rebounds and Shannon Brown led the Phoenix Suns’ rally
after being down 19 points against the Sacramento Kings with 22 points to help
cap the win 101-90.

RG3 #10 jersey sales is through the roof! |
For
your NFL Quick Hits, Dallas Cowboys officials were surprised to see nose tackle
Josh Brent at Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers as he is on the
reserved non-football injury list as a result of being charged with
intoxication manslaughter two weeks ago, Washington Redskins linebacker London
Fletcher is blaming security workers at Cleveland Browns Stadium for a
confrontation that left four of his relatives arrested and an aunt
hospitalized, an investigation into the fatal heroin overdose of Garrett Reid,
the oldest son of Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid, revealed there were
steroids in his room the day he died, a Pennsylvania prosecutor said Monday,
the Buffalo Bills are struggling on the field, but that hasn't stopped the team
from getting an early start on its 2013 free-agent class as they agreed to a
four-year, $15 million extension with guard Kraig Urbik, and finally, Robert
Griffin III is not only impressing on the field, he's also making an impression
off it as the Washington Redskins rookie quarterback's No. 10 jersey has sold
more than any other player's in a single season since the NFL started keeping
track six years ago.
