There is none like You….no one else can touch my heart the way You do.  I could search for all eternity long and find there is none like You!  Welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y.!

Payton Manning clinches the
division...this time with the Broncos
For your Round II of NFL scores, overtime was needed for the St. Louis Rams and the San Francisco 49ers to settle who the winner would be and the Rams wasn’t having any parts of getting another tie as Greg Zuerlein kicked the game winning field goal with 26 second left to give them the win over the 49er’s 16-13, the New England Patriots did just enough to get past the Miami Dolphins 23-16 as they clinched their 4th consecutive AFC East title as Wes Welker had 103 receiving yards and a score and Welker is now tied at 17th with Hall of Famer Jerry Rice with 17 games of 10 or more receptions, after 3 catches to players in the wrong colored jersey, Marc Sanchez of the New York Jets was benched in favor of 3rd string quarterback Greg McElroy who led the Jets to an ugly win over the Arizona Cardinals 7-6, while the Tampa Buccaneers couldn’t keep up with Payton Manning’s 242 passing yards and not one, not two, but three TD’s as he led the Denver Broncos to the 31-23 win and the Broncos clinched the AFC West Division Title as Manning passed Jake Plummer and John Elway for most scoring throws in a single season with 29, the Cleveland Browns put an end to their 12 game road skid by notching the 20-17 win over the Oakland Raiders with 364 passing yards from Brandon Weeden and a score and the Dallas Cowboys received hard fought effort from the Philadelphia Eagles but escaped with a win 38-33 to move to .500 for the season as Tony Romo had 303 passing yards and not one, not two, but three TD’s as he broke Troy Aikman’s career franchise record.

Chiney Ogwumike pretty much
outplayed the entire
Gonzaga squad
The ladies of the basketball world in the college game had several ranked games as I run down the scores ranked in the Top Ten as the top ranked team in the land in Stanford clobbered Gonzaga 69-41 as Chiney Ogwumike had a double-double with 21 big time points and 11 boards, 4th ranked Duke blasted 10th ranked California 77-63 after a 22-2 run as Tricia Liston poured in 22 points, 6th ranked Penn State literally smacked Fair Dickinson upside the head 101-44….ouch, as Maggie Lucas was sizzling hot with 24 points, while 7th ranked Louisville was UPSET by 9th ranked Kentucky 48-47 as Janee Thompson secured the win with the game winning trey with 8.4 seconds left in the contest and 8th ranked Georgia notched the win against Georgia Tech 60-50 with 22 points from Jasmine Hassell.

Graeme McDowell cruised to a win
at the World Golf Challenge

The World Golf Challenge presented by Northwestern Mutual at Sherwood Country Club with a purse of $4 million dollars witnessed Graeme McDowell blowing by the competition by three strokes with a 17 under par to capture the win as Keegan Bradley placed 2nd, Bo Van Pelt, 3rd and Jim Furyk, Rickie Fowler and Tiger Woods tied for 4th.

Boston University conducted a
study on brain disease which
included 15 former NFL players

For your NFL Quick Hits, researchers at Boston University have discovered 28 new cases of chronic brain damage in deceased football players, including 15 who played in the NFL, more than doubling the number of documented cases connecting football to long-term brain disease, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Rashad Jennings was knocked out of the Jaguars' loss against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday after sustaining a head injury in the second quarter, and finally, Tennessee Titans right tackle David Stewart was carted off the field after breaking his right leg on the opening series against the Houston Texans.
