Cam Newton flips his way into
                the end-zone for 1 of 3 TDS
Your Round II scores in the NFL was just as exciting as Round I as Cam, ohhh Cam, Cam Newton did it again as he clipped the wings of the Atlanta Falcons with 403 all-purpose yards and a total of not one, not two, but three TD’s as the Carolina Panthers blasted the Falcons 30-20, the New York Jets allowed Mark Sanchez back at the QB helm but it was the running game of the Jets that powered past the Jacksonville Jaguars 17-10, the San Francisco 49ers fish fried the Miami Dolphins 27-13 as Frank Gore, Colin Kaepernick, and Anthony Dixon each rushed for a TD, the New York Giants whipped, walloped and whacked, Alliteration, I Love It, the New Orleans Saints 52-27 as Eli Manning passed for 259 yards and count ‘em uno, dos, tres, quarto TD’s, while the Seattle Seahawks literally spanked and SHUT OUT the Arizona Cardinals 58 – ZERO, 58 – ZILCH, 58 – ZIP, as Marshawn Lynch had 128 bone crushing yards and not one, not two, but three TD’s and the Green Bay Packers got the best of the Detroit Lions 27-20 after a collection of field goals.

Doug McDermott opened fire on
              Akron with 30 points
Men’s College Basketball only had two ranked teams in action yesterday as 16th ranked Creighton routed Akron 77-61 as Doug McDermott made the nets holla hallejuah with his game high of 30 points and #21 UNLV just barely avoided the upset by one measly point overt California 76-75 as Quintrell Thomas scored on a short hook shot with 1.2 seconds left.

The ladies in the Women’s College Basketball had several ranked games yesterday as 4th ranked Duke lambasted St. John’s 60-42, 7th ranked Kentucky dominated Middle Tennessee 68-46 and 10th ranked Penn State smashed Georgetown 97-74.

For your NBA Quick Dribbles, the NBA fined Boston Celtics forward/center Chris Wilcox $25,000 for making an obscene gesture directed toward fans during Friday's loss in Philadelphia, NBA executive vice president of basketball operations Stu Jackson announced Sunday, Charlotte Bobcats president of basketball operations Rod Higgins says the team has waived his son Cory Higgins and signed forward Jeff Adrien and finally, San Antonio's Stephen Jackson was fined $25,000 by the NBA Sunday for a "hostile statement" he sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder's Serge Ibaka over Twitter….you gotta make sure that your sure before you press send…..huh?!
