Undying love you've given to me, seen in me things I
would never have seen. I don't
understand why you care so much, it's all a mystery. Time and time again I ask myself, what have I
done to deserve such wealth? The price
you paid, I could never repay your generosity!
Good morning and welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema

The Bengals were just too much for the Eagles in Thursday Night Football |
Thursday Night Football in the National Football League
featured two teams surging in different directions as the 7-6 Cincinnati
Bengals have won four of their last five games while the 4-9 Philadelphia
Eagles have only one win in their last five games and the 1st quarter
was owned by the Bengals they led 10-0 and the 2nd quarter witnessed
the Eagles take control and put up 13 points by way of a TD and 2 field goals
as they led 13-10 at the half. Sadly
for Eagles fans, 13 points would be all the Eagles would score as Bengals
seized control in the 2nd half
and SHUT
OUT the Eagles as they went on to be literally
smacked upside the head by the
Bengals 34-13 as Ben Green Ellis aka ‘The Law Firm’ amassed
106 rushing yards and a score.

Carmelo Anthony explodes after a 30 point barrage against the Lakers |
The
National Basketball Association had three games
to tip off last night as two games per usual on Thursday night was
highlighted on TNT as the Charlotte Bobcats and the Atlanta Hawks tipped off
first and the Hawks handed the Bobcats their 10th consecutive loss
113-90 with 20 points from Devin Harris, while the LA Lakers and the New York
Knicks was the first nationally televised game and the Knicks continued to stay
hot
as they were blowing
the Lakers out of the water, but my Lakers would mount a comeback but fall
116-107 as Carmelo Anthony put up 30 points in the win and in the second
nationally televised game, the San Antonio Spurs experienced a rare 2nd
straight loss as the Portland Trailblazers notch the win 98-90 with rookie
sensation Damian Lillard scoring a career high of 29 points.

NFL still struggles to truly track concussions |
For
your NFL Quick Hits, former New Orleans Saints defensive assistant Mike
Cerullo, who offered key evidence to NFL investigators as they worked to
uncover proof of a pay-for-performance bounty system within the New Orleans
organization, stated “Since it became public that I told league officials about
the bounty program, I have been vilified and subjected to slanderous
lies," in a letter to Paul Tagliabue in the letter obtained exclusively by
ESPN's Outside the Lines, Dallas Cowboys
lineman Josh Brent, the player charged with intoxication manslaughter in the
one-car accident that killed his teammate Jerry Brown, had a blood alcohol
level of more than twice the legal limit of .18 at the time of the crash,
Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant said Thursday he plans to play Sunday
against the Pittsburgh Steelers despite his fractured left index finger, NFL
Commissioner Roger Goodell said Wednesday at the NFL's owners meetings that the
league would spend the next few months exploring playoff expansion, and
finally, Three years after Congress pressured the NFL to overhaul its
concussion program, the league effort remains marked by inconsistencies in how
it tracks, manages and even describes serious head injuries, making it
difficult to assess the league's progress on the issue…wow, a billion dollar industry can’t find a
way to get this done as they “talk” about player safety. Makes you go whaaaat?
