In sporting news, after a phenomenal year that concluded with a national championship, University of Kentucky five starting players announced all together in a nationally televised news conference, they were declaring for the NBA draft.  Freshmen Anthony Davis, MVP of the Final Four, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Marquis Teague and sophomores Terrence Jones and Doron Lamb will leave the program and a coach that provided them with opportunity to win at the highest level in college basketball.  The five starters combined for 62 of Kentucky’s 67 points in the title game and the program will lose 93.3% of points, 94.5% of individual rebounds and 96.2% of assists with the players leaving, but Calipari is already loading up for next season with top prospects committing to the program.
