The pivotal Game 3 was on in the National Basketball Association in the playoffs last night as the Indiana Pacers ran the Miami Heat out the Fieldhouse and literally spanked the Heat with Pacer Power 94-75 as George Hill lead the Pacers with 20 points and Roy Hibbert was a beast with 19 points and 18 big boy rebounds and the Heat was smacked in the mouth in the paint getting out rebounded 52-36 as the Pacers lead the series 2-1 and Dwayne Wade finished with his worst playoff performance ever with 5 point and a verbal spat with coach Eric Spoelstra and Game 2 was balling last night as the San Antonio Spur simply befuddled and embarrassed the Lob City Clippers 105-88 to take a commanding 2-0 series lead with 22 points from Tony Parker Chris Paul had a bad case of the coughs as he had 8 turnovers.

The National Hockey League continued their playoffs last night as well as they had a pivotal Game 3 to skate out on the iceeeee last night as the Phoenix Coyotes did their best to get their first win of the series, but came up a weeee bit short and lost by one goal 2-1to the LA Kings as David King and Anze Kopitar each scored a goal to give the Kings a convincing 3-0 series lead in the Western Conference Final.

For your NBA Quick Dribbles, a 12-year-old Texas boy who was suspended from school after shaving his head to resemble the face of Spurs forward Matt Bonner scored tickets to a playoff game and props from his favorite NBA player, NBA TV will celebrate the 20th anniversary of USA Basketball's iconic team, when the network premieres NBA TV's "The Dream Team" on Wednesday, June 13, and finally, after LA Lakers guard Steve Blake missed the game winning uncontested three pointer in Game 2 against the Oklahoma City, he and his wife Kristen, received threating tweets on their Twitter account…..now granted, I was personally upset, but it’s not that serious folks. Come on man!

There several day games yesterday in the American League in Major League Baseball as the Oakland A’s won by a run in 10 innings 5-4 over the Texas Rangers as Josh Reddick launched his 10th homer of the season, the Chicago White Sox muscled past the LA Angels 6-1 with Chris Sale getting his 4th win while striking out 7,it took 11 innings ,but the Cleveland Indians eked out a one run win 6-5 over the Seattle Mariners while the Minnesota Twins eked out a one run win over the Detroit Tigers 4-3 as Justin Morneau launched a 2 run homer, the Baltimore Orioles got past the Kansas City Royals 5-3 with Adam Jones’ 13th homer of the season, the  Boston Red Sox out swung the Tampa Rays 5-3 with Cody Ross’ 7 homer of the season and the New York Yankees crushed by the Toronto Blue Jays 4-1 with Jose Bautista launching his 10th homer of the season.

The National League had a couple few day games in Major League Baseball as the Arizona Diamondbacks outlasted the Colorado Rockies 9-7 with Justin Upton’s homerun in the 9th inning, the defending champion St. Louis Cardinals was defeated by the San Francisco Giants 7-5, the Cincinnati Reds were befuddled by the New York Mets 9-4 as R. A. Dickey struck out 8 batters, the Pittsburgh Pirates knocked off the Washington Nationals 5-3 with 2 homeruns from Andrew McCutchen, the Miami Marlins were SHUT OUT and literally spanked by the Atlanta Braves 7-0 as Brandon Beachy threw a 5 hit shut-out to notch his 5th win, while the Philadelphia Phillies eked out a one run win against the Chicago Cubs 8-7 Carlos Ruiz bringing 3 RBI’s, the Milwaukee Brewers were SHUT OUT and blasted by the Houston Astros 4-0 with a homerun from Jed Lowrie and the LA Dodgers annihilated the San Diego Padres 8-4.

In sporting news, Jonathan Vilma of the New Orleans Saints, who has been suspended for the 2012-13 season, has sued Roger Goodell, the commissioner of the NFL for defamation, claiming the commissioner made false statements that tarnished his reputation and stifled his ability to earn a living playing football.  Vilma’s attorney, Peter Ginsberg, who filed the suit in U. S. District Court in New Orleans, stated “by suing Commissioner Goodell in court, Jonathan opted to use a fair playing field where he has procedural rights and protections to remedy the harm Commissioner Goodell has done to him.”

A day after a report from the examiner.com allegedly claimed boxing champion Manny Pacquiao quoted a Bible verse from Leviticus calling for the death of a man who lies with a man; Pacquiao went on his boxing defense to clarify his comments.  Pacquiao, who opposes President Barack Obama’s support for gay marriage says he loves and supports gays and lesbians, even though he does not approve of gay marriage.
