Ball State got the UPSET win
             over 25th ranked Toledo
Now that the country has selected the president, let us all work together for the common good of all mankind as just like in world of sports, the great equalizer as I kick off this segment with action from the Grid Iron as the Mid-American Conference showcased Ball State battling 25th ranked Toledo freshly celebrating their inclusion in the Top 25 BCS Rankings as they took a 17-17 halftime tie into the locker room.  But in the 2nd half, Ball State struck first with a touchdown and keep it going as 25th ranked Toledo was UPSET by unranked Ball State as Keith Wenning passed for 280 yards and 3 interceptions, but that was offset by his not one, not two, but three TD’s and running back Jahwan Edwards had 105 ground pounding yards along with a score.

Luol Deng took the lead for
               the Bulls against the Magic
The National Basketball Association only had three games on tap as my hometown Orlando Magic came up short against the Chicago Bulls 99-93 as Luol Deng poured in 23 points, the Toronto Raptors was simply befuddled by the Oklahoma City Thunder 108-88 with Russell Westbrook’s 19 points and Kevin Martin came off the bench with 15 points and the final game of the night as two winless team were each looking for their first victory as the Denver Nuggets bombarded the winless Detroit Pistons 109-97 as newly added Nugget Andre Iguodala had a double-double with 17 points and boards.

Steve Blake $25K poorer for his
                tirade against a fan
For your NBA Quick Dribbles, Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant was held out of practice for a second straight day Tuesday as he continues to recover from a sore right ankle and strained right foot, New Orleans Hornets coach Monty Williams was fined $25,000 by the NBA on Tuesday for public comments criticizing the league's concussion policy, another $25,000 was doled out by the league as they fined Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Blake for directing inappropriate language toward a fan, an MRI revealed that Dallas Mavericks forward Shawn Marion suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee during Monday's win over the Portland Trail Blazers and will miss at least three games, and finally, the Charlotte Bobcats announced starting guard Gerald Henderson could miss approximately 2-4 weeks with a sprained left foot.

New Orleans Saints w/ Mickey Loomis, NFL w/ Green Bay Injuries & Overrated Coaches: 11/7, Vol. 265, 2nd Edition

No weapon formed against me shall prosper, it won’t work. God will do what He says He would do; He will stand by His word and He will come through!  Welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y.!

Mickey Loomis, looking refreshed,
back at the helm of Who Dat Nation
In sporting news, the suspended employees due to the Bounty Scandal of the New Orleans Saints continue to trickle back to work as Mickey Loomis is back on the premises after serving his eight game suspensions.  One of his major tasks at hand is re-word the contact extension of suspended coach Sean Payton, as NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell refused to approve after Payton signed it in 2011.  In addition, he must work on a backup plan that in the event Jonathan Vilma and Will Smith, who are currently playing, will be re-suspended after the upcoming hearing.

Overrated....clap...clap...
              clap, clap, clap
For your NFL Quick Hits, despite their loss on Monday Night Football and a 3-5 record, coach Andy Reid says he still believes the Philadelphia Eagles can turn their season around, Jerry Jones, the general manager, will never relinquish that title with the Dallas Cowboys. Much like Jerry Jones, the owner, will never sell the team as he responded to the question, Mike Shanahan's players are supporting their coach after he seemingly wrote off the Washington Redskins' season and then said his comments had been misinterpreted, three more starters, Clay Matthews, Jordy Nelson and Bryan Bulaga of the Green Bay Packers were all hurt in Sunday's 31-17 victory over Arizona and Bulaga's hip injury appears serious enough to keep him out for an extended period of time while Matthews doesn't feel his hamstring could sideline him for a couple weeks, the Arizona Cardinals have lost starting outside linebacker O'Brien Schofield for the season with an injured left ankle and finally, of 103 players from 27 NFL teams, 35 indicated that New York Jets coach Rex Ryan was the most overrated coach in the NFL, while New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick finished second with 16 votes, while Philadelphia Eagles Andy Reid finished third with nine votes.
