Round 1 of NFL & NBA Scores, NASCAR Results & All Out Brawl & DeMarcus Cousins Banned: 11/12, Vol. 268, 1st Edition

Hello God, here I am again, giving Your name the praise it is so worthy of, because you touch me with the finger of life and allowed last night, not to be my last night.  So, I glorify Your name and as the country continues to celebrate Veteran’s Day, I pray Father that you be a fence around all of our service men and women and protect them from any hurt, harm and danger.  This prayer I pray in the name of Jesus…..Amen. Good morning and welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema on Gospel Radio better than when you heard it last week!  I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y!  Here We Go!

Andy Dalton was fire with 4 TD's
              against the New York Giants
The weekend was jammed packed with spectacular sports as I kick off the is segment with your NFL scores Round 1 style as the New York Football Giants were clobbered by the Cincinnati Bengals 31-13 as Andy Dalton threw for 199 yards and count ‘em uno, dos, tres, quarto TD’s, the Tennessee Titans fish fried the Miami Dolphins 37-3 as Ryan Tannehill was intercepted three times and one for a TD by Colin McCarthy, the Minnesota Vikings used 171 ground pounding yards from Adrian Peterson and a score outlast the Detroit Lions 34-24, while the Buffalo Bills couldn’t hang on to get the upset win over the New England Patriots as they triumph over the Bills 37-31 as Tom Brady passed for 337 yards and 2 TD’s, the first game after Roddy White said the Atlanta Falcons have the pedigree to go 16-0, they were handily beat by the New Orleans Saints 31-27 as Drew Brees threw for 298 yards and not one, not two, but three TD’s and the Tampa Bay Bucs surged past the San Diego Chargers 34-24 with 210 passing yards from Josh Freeman and his 2 TD’s.

Brad Keselowski won at Phoenix,
but the brawl captured the headline
Phoenix International Speedway was the track, NASCAR was the game and all out brawl was the name as Brad Keselwoski finished 6th and jump ahead 20 points in the standings over Jimmie Johnson, who blew a tire and had to retreat to the garage for repairs.  Kasey Kahne completed the race 50 points back, while Clint Bowyer is 2 back from Kahne and Denny Hamlin is 5th at 62 points back.  And the brawl you ask?  Four time champion Jeff Gordon was so fed with Bowyer, that he intentionally wrecked him which eventually led to brawl between both crews in garage, but not sure who came out on top.

With 7 treys, Wayne Ellington
                was introduced to the NBA
The National Basketball Association had five games on tap yesterday as the Brooklyn Nets get the sweep over my home city Orlando Magic 82-74 as Chris Humphries had huge double-double with 14 points and 21 glass grabbing rebounds, the LA Clippers tormented the Atlanta Hawks to a 89-76 win with 16 points from Blake Griffin, the Memphis Grizzlies outmuscled and totally outplayed the defending champion Miami Heat 104-86 as Wayne Ellington, who, Wayne Ellington, okay, had a game high of 25 points off of 7 treys, while the Cleveland Cavaliers were dropped by the Oklahoma City Thunder 106-91 as Russell Westbrook poured in 27 points and netted 10 assists and with my LA Lakers 2-0 under Bernie Bickerstaff since firing Mike Brown, who needs Phil?  However comma I digress as the Lakers notch the win against the Sacramento Kings 103-90 as big man Dwight Howard had 23 points and 18 monster grabbing rebounds.

DeMarcus Cousin....again, who me?
                Banned for his confrontation
              with Sean Elliot
For your NBA Quick Dribbles, Minnesota Timberwolves swingman Chase Budinger will be out indefinitely with a torn meniscus in his left knee and the NBA has suspended Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins for two games without pay for confronting San Antonio announcer Sean Elliott in a hostile manner, which will cost Cousins $70,500 of his $3.9 million salary.

LA Lakers Hire Mike D' Antoni, NFL Round 2 & MLS Playoff Scores: 11/12, Vol. 268, 2nd Edition

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint!  Welcome back to your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y.!

JJ Watt & the Texans turned off
the Chicago Bears power Sunday Night
There was more action on the Grid Iron for Round 2 of your NFL scores as Peyton Manning had 301 passing yards and  a score as the Denver Broncos demolished the Carolina Panthers 36-14, the Baltimore Ravens literally spanked the Oakland Raiders 55-20 as Joe Flacco had 341 yards and not one, not two, but three TD’s, the New York Jets were manhandled by the Seattle Seahawks 28-7 as Marshawn Lynch had124 rushing yards and a score, while the Dallas Cowboys got the win 38-23 against the Philadelphia Eagles with 209 passing yards and 2 TD’s from Tony Romo, not since 2008 was there a tie in an NFL game, but that changed when the St. Louis Rams and the San Francisco 49er’s played to a 24-24 tie and 49er’s quarterback Alex Smith suffered a concussion in the 1st half and the Houston Texans battled with the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in a wet, soggy affair and came away with the win 13-6 with a TD pass from Matt Schaub and 102 rushing yards from Arian Foster and he also had receiving TD.

One more win & the Houston Dynamo
are back to the finals for a 4th time
Major League Soccer had two playoff games last night as the Houston Dynamo pounded DC United 3-1 in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Finals and in the first leg of the Western Conference Finals, the LA Galaxy SHUT OUT and crushed Seattle Sounders FC 3-0.

Kobe & Mike D' Antoni will unite
              as the Lakers hired the
               former Knicks coach

In breaking news in the weeeeee hours of the morning, in unexpected move, Los Angeles Lakers have hire and agreed to a four year contract with Mike D’Antoni to replace Mike Brown, whom they fired only after five games this short NBA season.  The Lakers will hold a press conference Tuesday or Wednesday and it was a unanimous decision with the Lakers brass to hire the former Phoenix Sun and New York Knicks head coach.  Ultimately, the organization, in the words of Arkeisha, ‘could not deal’ with demands of former Laker coach Phil Jackson which included an annual salary ranging from $10-$15 million dollars per year, significant say in personnel along with his replacement after his contract expired and the fact that he wanted to skip several road games.

BCS Rankings Week 11, NHRA Champion Antron Brown & NFL Michael Vick Concussed: 11/12, Vol. 268, 3rd Edt'n

He deserves glory, He deserves honor…..sing hallelujah as we bless His name; for He is the great I AM!  For your Spiritual Sports Segment on Rhema Gospel Radio, I’m C.E.E.J.A.Y.

Kansas State is now #1
                 in BCS Rankings
The king has fallen!  The king has fallen!  The king has fallen from it chair as we had some seismic shuffling to take place in the BCS Rankings since formerly 15th Texas A&M went to the house that Bear built and knocked Alabama from its King’s Chair and dropped them from the #1 BCS Ranking allowing new #1 ranked Kansas State and newly 2nd ranked Oregon to be course to do battle for the BCS National Championship.  Norte Dame moved up one spot to take over at 3rd and Alabama drops to 4th, while Georgia, Florida and LSU stayed steady at #5, #6 and #7, the aforementioned Texas A&M catapulted to the 8th, South Carolina drops one spot to 9th and Florida State maintained their ranking at #10.

Antron Brown is 1st African-American
to win major auto racing title
For your Quick News & Notes, Top Fuel driver Antron Brown became the first African-American driver in history to win a major auto racing title when he clinched the NHRA Title, Dani Pedrosa of Spain won the season-ending Valencia Grand Prix on Sunday after starting from the pit lane and taking advantage of a crash by motorcycling world champion Jorge Lorenzo, after spending the night in the hospital due to problems breathing and increased blood pressure, Charlie Beljan first PGA Tour victory at the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic in Florida, South Carolina freshman center Laimonas Chatkevicius will miss six games after the NCAA determined he received impermissible benefits before enrolling at the school, and finally, the NHL and NHL Players' Association met briefly Sunday in a failed attempt to tackle player contracting issues, leaving little hope a labor deal will be reached soon.

For your NFL Quick Hits, during the Philadelphia Eagles loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday quarterback Michael Vick of the Eagles suffered a concussion and timetable for his return is unknown and the New Orleans Saints have been given written permission by the NFL to negotiate a contract extension with suspended coach Sean Payton.
