            The National Basketball Association had a plethora of games all across the country last night with two nationally televised games, but I’ll set it off with the Brooklyn Nets recovering from a slow start to get pass the Toronto Raptors 94-88 with 24 points from Joe Johnson, the Atlanta Hawks defeated my home city Orlando Magic 86-80 as Josh Smith and Al Horford each put up a double-double, the Cleveland Cavaliers were outpaced the Indiana Pacers pun intended 96-81 Paul George’s 27 points helped erase a 16 point deficit, the Chicago Bulls were led by Joakim Noah’s 21 points against the Philadelphia 76ers as they secured the win 96-89, while the Lob City Clippers extended their win streak to eight games as they get the win over the Charlotte Bobcats 100-94, the Golden State Warriors came out of South Beach victorious against the Miami Heat 97-95 as Draymond Green made a layup with .9 left in game and Klay Thomas hung 27 points and the first nationally televised game featured the Dallas Mavericks going up against the Boston Celtics as they needed not one, but two overtimes to settle this one as Paul Pierce put up 34 points and Rajon Rondo pass out 15 dimes as the Celtics coral the Mavs 117-115 as I wrap up Round I scores in The Association.

There was only one ranked team in Men’s College Basketball last night as Savannah State was demolished, dominated and decimated, Alliteration, I Love It, by 7th ranked Ohio State 85-45 as Deshaun Thomas netted 22 points. The MEAC had some other teams in action as South Carolina State lost Albany 70-61 as Jacob Iati poured in 21 points, Bethune Cookman came up short against Central Florida 72-62 as Keith Clanton played outside of his mind with 30 basket filling points and 13 rebounds and Coppin State walloped UMBC 80-61 as Michael Murray notched 19 points and 13 boards.

For your NBA Quick Dribbles, Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins has been suspended for one game for striking Dallas Mavericks guard O.J. Mayo in the groin area Monday night, NBA executive vice president Stu Jackson announced Wednesday and Kevin Love didn't apologize and he didn't make excuses or suggest his words were taken out of context when he stated “You walk into the locker room every year, and it's completely turned over. There's new guys everywhere.  And then it happens again and again. You start to wonder: Is there really a plan here?”  The only he wished differently was it not said in a public forum.

For Round II of your NBA scores, the Sacramento Kings were defeated by the Milwaukee Bucks 98-85 as Brandon Jennings notched 19 points, the Houston Rockets got past the Washington Wizards 99-93 with James Harden lighting up the scoreboard for 31 points, the OKC Thunder knocked off the New Orleans Hornets 92-88 as Kevin Durant was on fire with 35 points, while the Denver Nuggets lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-105with 22 points from Nikola Pekovic, the Memphis Grizzlies lost a close one to the Phoenix Suns 82-80 as hook shot from Goran Dragic with .5 seconds left in the game sealed the deal and in the second nationally televised game, the Utah Jazz had a buzzer beating 3 from Mo Williams that gave them the 99-96 victory over the San Antonio Spurs as Paul Milsap put in work with 24 points and 12 boards.

The Wonderful Women in the World of College Basketball featured three ranked games as 3rd ranked Baylor blasted, bulldozed, and baptized, Alliteration, I Love It, Oral Roberts 94-56 as Odyssey Sims poured in a season high of 27 points, 11th ranked Penn State trounced Virginia Tech 60-41 with 17 points from Maggie Lewis and 19th ranked North Carolina clobbered North Carolina Central 49-21 as UNC held Central to 16% in field goals, but the Lady Tar Heels wasn’t that much better at 27% as they tied a school record for fewest points in a win and in the MEAC, they had one game as South Carolina State ran over Charleston Southern 73-57 and the SWAC also had one game as Southern was hammered by Rutgers 63-49.
