It’s time to go bowling!  You’ve been waiting and debating for oh so long, just starving like, wait….wrong show!  You’ve been waiting  the 2012 College Football Bowl Season to kick off and it did last night as BYU took their mission to the Grid Iron to battle San Diego State in the San Diego County Credit Union Ponsettia Bowl  as San Diego State came out running and gunning with field goals in 1st and early 2nd quarters but BYU said the Lord said you got to rise up and they went on to score 23 unanswered points as they demolished San Diego State 23-6 as Kyle Van Noy had a 17 yard interception TD return and a TD fumble return.

If  you’ve been keeping up with the Thursday shows, then you would know that it was TNT Night as the National Basketball Association featured two games on TNT as the OKC Thunder had their 12 game win streak came to a halt as the Minnesota Timberwolves notch the 99-93 win as Kevin Love put up 28 points and pulled down 11 boards, in the second nationally televised game, the Miami Heat tamed the Dallas Mavericks 110-95 with 24 points from LeBron James and the final game of the night pitted the Denver Nuggets against the Portland Trailblazers the Trailblazers struck gold with a 101-93 win with 22 points from Nicolas Batum, J. J. Hickson had 18 big boy rebounds and the probable Rookie of the Year in Damian Lillard had 10 assists.

Men’s College Basketball only had two ranked teams in action as top ranked Duke smothered, smoked and suppressed, Alliteration, I Love It, Elon 76-54 as Mason Plummee had a huge game of 21 points and 15 glass grabbing rebounds and 2nd ranked Michigan pummeled, pasted and pulverized, Alliteration, I told you I Love It, Eastern Michigan 93-54 with 17 points from Tim Hardaway, Jr.

The ladies on the other hand had seven ranked games last night in Women’s College Basketball as 5th ranked Norte Dame annihilated Kansas State 87-57 as Skylar Diggins poured in 22 points, 9th ranked Maryland crushed Delaware 69-53 as Tianna Hawkins had a big time double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds, 12th ranked UCLA was UPSET by CS Northridge 77-72 behind Ashlee Guay’s career high of 28 points, while 18th ranked Oklahoma trounced UC Riverside 70-46 as Aaryn Ellenberg was on fire with 27 points, #22 Texas A&M clobbered Old Dominion 78-55 as Kelsey Boone played outside of her mind with a career high of 33 points and pulled down 14 rebounds and 20th ranked Texas easily handled Cornell 53-40 with a double-double from Imani McGee-Stafford of 20 points and 12 boards.
